I'm getting ready to take Emilee for a bike ride, but I thought I'd share this incredible news I got today.

Let me start by going back to Labor Day weekend 2001. My brother was in a very bad car accident and was in a wheelchair for a few months. He's been walking with a cane ever since and has been in excruciating pain. He's been to more doctors than I can count on my fingers and none of them have been able to help him. FINALLY a few months ago he found a doctor that gave him a much more thorough exam. Found out he had two discs in his back that were just kind of floating there. So today they went in and did surgery to fix the discs.

So the news is: The doctor came out and told my mom that my brother has had a BROKEN BACK all this time and that's why he's been in such bad pain.

Can I get a great big Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!

Ok...me and Emilee are going for our bike ride now. I'll be back on later!!

OMG - I can't believe that. I can imagine how much pain he's been in. I fractured my back a few years ago and it was the worst pain ever. Thank heavens they FINALLY figured out the problem. I hope he feels better soon.

OK, IM CURIOUS, What is the extension cord for. Are you going to run a line from the ship to the beach

Waterproof cameras are great. I have 2. I took them last time. You get some great shots. If you want closeups of fish bring dried cereal off the ship and sprinkle it around you. I had about 20 decent sized angel type fish taking food right out of my hands at Serenity Bay. Duck under the water at family beach with goggles on, you will see some good sized fish swimming around you and not know it One knocked my Konk Kooler out of my hand

It looked like a big sea bass type fish. All I saw was a big eye coming right for my hand which was just on top of the water. It was chest high water. Good thing it was 2 for 1 at the bar near the family beach i had another one sitting on our BEER BARGE
