Looks like you Hoosiers might want to consider moving to another state. Because apparently to be judge in Indiana you don't have to know anything about the Constitution. The Supremes in Indiana have battered it twice in the past week! Clicky - and prepare to be outraged!

Consider me suitable outraged! I can't believe we have actually been witnessing the erosion of our consitution over the last several years. How many times more are we going to have to see the fourth ammendment violated by those sworn to uphold it? Just yesterday I saw a story in the news about a bumper sticker that was causing controrversy and discussion on whether it should be covered under the 1st ammendment or made illegal :scared1: Free speech is free speech not just speech that makes everyone feel warm and fuzzy. I may not like or agree with what someone wants to say on a bumper sticker but I will support their right to be the @ss hat that they are about letting all and sundry know it! Quite frankly I am grateful for the fidiots who choose to use bumper stickers to let me know they are most definitely NOT someone I want to associate with right off the bat before I waste any time getting to know them :thumbsup2 At this rate we will be living in a police state before we know it and wondering how the heck it happened :sad2: Maybe instead of learning fencing I'll take shooting lessons and join the NRA :rolleyes1

Enjoyed your mini-rant. Loved the part in red. Fencing is an exhausting sport (did a bit of it in college).

Did anyone attend the inaugural "Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic" last year? We were gonna do it last year but something came up and couldn't go.

We have not done the Swan & Dolphin Food and Wine Classic but want to do it someday. It sounds great. We won't do it this since because of the Member Cruise and already have plans to be at the World in December too. Next year we have the end of March planned for Flower & Garden and then the podcast cruise in December of 2012. The following year I want to bring my son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids down but will probably try and do that in Sept. so we can get more space for our points. Hope it's still going on when we finally have the time and $ to go!

That's a rant that would make Dennis Miller proud! Well done!!

If I weren't on my iPhone there would be a clapping smiley or something!

Something actually cruise related:

I just got a conformation from Southwest and DVC that Southwest is now a participant in the baggage onboard checkin.
Like many other airlines have been doing, we can now put our luggage in the hallway the last night and using the special tags have our luggage checked through to home destination city. I believe the boarding pass are also printed and delivered to the room. This all came about when we booked through Southwest and I heard they were not in this program. I e-mailed them about why they were not and they just replied and they are now in the program and DVC just confirmed this for me...smjj

Glad you enjoyed :goodvibes Fencing looks way cool and I can see how physically demanding it is. However, with all of those lunges and moves I would think that it would be a heck of a workout and work wonders for obtaining muscular thighs and getting rid of the er "cheese on my pizza" so to speak :rolleyes1

Thank you :goodvibes I LOVE Dennis Miller!!!!

Drive by posting done, now it's back to work before going to see the Taylor Swift concert tonight!

Thank you ! :flower3:
Don't forget book rental! For my two elementary age kids, I pay about $250 per year...it only gets worse with each year too. And then we have to buy supplies for the whole class...each student is asked to bring in like six glue sticks, two to four boxes of kleenex, TONS of pencils...I KNOW my kid doesn't go through that much tissue and that much glue or that many pencils!
I'm all caught up! Now, don't do that to me again!! I think I had to read 50 pages in two nights!!!! :scared1:

I thought you said you weren't gonna be on tonight!:confused3
I hope things are okay for you
We managed to dodge the major tornado watch that was from where I work across to where I live. Good luck and keep watch for flying babies!
Stay safe!!!

Well, on my break all that was on TV was tornado warnings

esp. near work. Luckily there is a "basement" in the building I work in, but I don't think all the patients would fit. :crowded: I thought I'd check in and get some friendly advice and humour myself reading the posts. Not easy posting ;) on an old I-phone.

And yes, there was a "flying baby" last night! Not really, but...There was a patient who was in her car, panting. I asked her "what is your name"?! All we got was a

and a scream! Five minutes later the baby was born...:cloud9:

Karen...I'm gonna run up the count

Just Kidding

I couldn't agree with your post more! And there's a _lot_ of @ss hats with bumper stickers up here in Oregon. Just one more reason to move to Florida!

Don't force me to UN-RETIRE and get the rest of the the pirate:/:bride:s

I know someone who has lost 100+ pounds fencing. Her kids got into fencing and she thought it looked like fun. So, she started doing it too. She looks great!

But do I still get to use a sword?

We have our fair share here too but I can't say I have ever seen a bumper sticker that would be blamed for "inciting violence." I've seen plenty that have me shaking my head and thinking clearly, Darwin was wrong.

WOW! That is AWESOME!!!! I am so taking up fencing!
