You should've seen my DD's trying to figure out why we need passports, they still don't know where they're going!

We once told our kids that they could not go to Hawaii with us because they did not have passports. Maybe you could tell them you are going to Hawaii

That was one of their guesses The funny thing is how concerned they are about packing, so they can pack the right clothes, They'll know "where" when we get to the airport, but I will go "shopping" with them for the "right" clothes

Definitely get the passport. On our Dream cruise few weeks ago, someone got sick and the ship had to return to port and person had to be tendered @ Nassau (hope they had the passport)
