You really must be my sista' from another mista'! I _love_ skunks. Some find it strange. And it may be. When I was a little girl, in third grade, there was a baby skunk that lived under our porch. Every day after school, I'd go out with my winter mittens on and pet and feed it. :rotfl: I loved that thing. When I was in high school, I volunteered for a museum that had lots of live animals. They had two skunks. I loved those guys!! They were so cuddly and sweet. One day I found out that skunk pee smells much, MUCH worse than skunk spray. :scared: That's when I decided that I wouldn't want one for a pet. :rotfl2:

I can't say I ever thought too hard about sugar gliders, but I researched myself out of a hedgehog. :lmao:

I was at a house that had a pet skunk that was de-stunked. I even got to pet it. It was cool!:cool2:

Sorry! I was at a scout meeting. And then, we came home to find a skinny beagle in my driveway. We snagged some food and tried to catch her, but she'd come in close, grab the food and then take off again. Spent about 45 minutes trying to make friends. But, she's been out on her own for a while and wasn't the trusting kind. At least she went to bed with a full tummy! She ate four cans of wet food, a dozen milk bones and a bowl of kibble.

Did it answer to the name... W@ll-E ?!?! :lmao:

There are no exemptions!!! That is why it's called the FAIRtax. Instead of exemptions, you would receive a prebate check to pay for the tax on goods and services that are necessary. If you exempt food, clothes and such it isn't FAIR. The richer you are, the buy more expensive clothes, food etc. you will buy. The more expensive the item, the more tax you were not paying. ( I wish I was more articulate to get the point across! )

The Fairtax is set at 23% or 30% depending on how you look at the math. The tax is included in everything you buy, just like corporate taxes are now, and it would be 23% of the purchase price. If the coat costs $100 then $23 is tax. If you at math the other way then coat costs $77 + 30% tax = $100.

You will receive a prebate check for tax spent on necessary goods and services like food, clothing, utility bills and so on. Every house hold will receive this no matter how much they earn. This is what makes it fair!

I am married with 2 children so my prebate would be $559 per month! Add that the full paycheck I get because there are no more income taxes to pay and you see how much more money we could be spending! Take a look at your next check and think about how nice it would be to keep it all!!

When the filthy rich spend money the prebate check would bring down their total FAIR tax to 22.9999%, but when the poorest spend money the prebate brings down their total FAIR tax to 5% or 10% or less. Middle class would pay around 15% or so.

This is a small explanation of it. I have read a few books on it and it is more involved than just what I have written. I would love to recommend the books to you, just PM me if you want to know what they are.
I hope you are intrigued!:thumbsup2

 whoa
