She was. Very, very carefully.watch your language young lady!!!
Anytime, real soon I hope I will know my schedule this week..
Get with Deb and set things up!
That's one of my favorites.
We like sausages, but not the sauerkraut. I think you may have to grow up eating it. Jason and I didn't and so neither have the boys.
We have 3/2 1500 sq ft ranch built in 93. Our homeowners is about $800 I think. Deb will make that correction, I'm sure, when she sees it. So yeah, that would be more but we would still be able to make that up no problem with the savings in property taxes and no income taxes!
HEAR THAT DEB!!!
How much is a normal utility bill? Electric and gas together!
Just thought I'd drop in and say hello ...![]()
Odd as it may sound, I couldn't stand to eat Sauerkraut growing up. And now I LOVE Sauerkraut! One of my favorite meals is Sausage & Sauerkraut...preferably when it has simmered in the crock pot all day.
Do you put the sausage in there raw or pre-cook it?
Ok....let me explain something that has NEVER made sense to me. When we lived in Merrillville (the next town over), we had a 1800 sf bi-level that was built in 1973. We had a VOLUNTEER fire department. Our homeowners insurance was between $400 & $500 per year. We moved to Hobart into a 1500 sf ranch that was built in 1993. Hobart has a regular fire department with firefighters at each station 24/7, and we have a fire hydrant right across the street. And our insurance is $650.I don't get it!!! Our agent told me it has something to do with the grids. ???? I would think Merrillville would have had higher premiums with a volunteer fire department. Andy, you're a firefighter, does that make any sense to you?
A major factor in establishing fire insurance rates is how well equipped the fire dept. is. For example, my local (volunteer) dept. has 3 "Pumper" Trucks, one 150' "Ladder" Truck, one Heavy Rescue Unit, 2 ALS ambulances, one SCUBA/Cold Water Rescue unit. etc. A typical FDNY house (paid) has maybe one "Ladder" and one "Pumper" Truck. Some only have one unit. Even if the insurance is based on two houses being close to each other, it still is only 3-4 vehicles maximum.
