Should it be seen in 3D or 2D ?

Well, I saw it in 2D. And everything is 2D to me. I don't have binocular vision. So, to me the world is flat. I will say that there were three times when there was very obviously a 3D effect put in place. I just rolled my eyes. I _hate_ the obvious 3D gags. They are just distracting.

I listen to a conservative radio talk show host name Michael Medved and I like his take on movies as well as politics. He gave POTC 4 a three star review and said that the 3D effects were not distracting at all. Based on that review we will be seeing it in 3D tomorrow or Sunday during the day when it's cheaper.

Us Chicago area DISers should have planned a DIS meet this weekend so we could have all gone to see POTC 4 together! How cool would that have been?!

What a day! Last night was Movies and Munchies night in the DizDragonfly house. I decided to have a couple of drinks with the Malibu Black that Jason came home with for me the other night. As it happens, the alcohol content of the Malibu Black is MUCH higher than Malibu. It kicked my booty! Woke up this morning still wasted. Slept until 1pm before I could drag my sorry self out of bed. I don't usually get hung over, but this stuff took me out! Whew!

We had to go for a family dinner with nine adults, four teenagers, one kindergardener, and three toddlers. I thought I was going to go out of my head.

I'd have cocktails too ...

I like Hugh too. I've heard that broadcast before. I also listen to Michael Savage in spurts, he's from your side of the country as well.

I have met him at a couple of Republican events. He was the keynote speaker at this years Fort Bend Lincoln-Reagan dinner. We were seated at the same table. He stayed and visited with us for quite a while after his speech. Really a nice guy. Not at all how is portrayed. He is already involved in strategy for the upcoming election. He was a fun guy to drink wine with and very candid in answering questions.

Wow that was post 911 for me. How ironic it was about Karl Rove. We talked alot about the events concerning President Bush and 911 at that event.

One of my bucket list items is to meet an American President, preferably one that I like. I would not enjoy meeting Carter, 41 would be nice,43 would be great! I don't care for Clinton or Obama but I would still enjoy meeting them to a certain degree.
