Where will you be dining WDW property?

Funny you should ask because I just nailed that all down!

Mama Melrose (Lunch)
Le Cellier (Lunch)
Raglan Road (Dinner)
Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
1900 Park Fare (Dinner)
Yak & Yeti (Lunch)
Via Napoli (Lunch)
Kouzzina (Dinner)
Ohana (Dinner)
The Plaza (Dinner)

May do Rose and Crown, but I'm having issues fitting this one in. We may just pop into the pub or eat at the CS place instead.

I might also book Ohana for breakfast as well. Kyle loves (is) Stitch. So, this is an easy way for him to get his fix.

Some of the CS places we'll probably stop are:

Pizza Planet
Leaning Palms (Typhoon Lagoon)
Columbia Harbor House
Cosmic Rays
Earl of Sandwich (as often as I can get the guys to agree to it! YUM!!)

The "other" thread hasn't gained much steam as of yet. This is my first year on the boards, and I hear it gets REALLY crazy with the postings a month or two before the cruise.

I'm glad the other one hasn't taken off yet. Too much to keep up with. :scared1:

I'm sure the thread will go nuts the last couple of months. I wonder how far out they will start releasing details about the cruise? :confused3

Oh, I forgot Olivia's. I'm leaning toward not making an ADR for that one. But, we definitely want to eat there. Probably WDW arrival night. I'll probably go ahead and make one, just to be on the safe side.

Nice variety. Few character dining.

Raglan Road: Try to get a table next the center of restaurant for a good view of the band & show.

Ohana's is so awesome. They come around with skewers of MEAT,CHICKEN,&PORK.

Colombia Harbor House - wonderful tuna fish sandwich.

Earl of Sandwich - can never go wrong with this one.

That's Ian's favorite place to eat. Terrie LOVES the keylime tart there. Not sure about dinner, but we've always got sat w/o ADR during lunch.

When we went in '08, Jason and I did a "date night" there without the kids. We went specifically for the band and to see the dancing. It was great! Our table was off to the side, but we still had a nice view. And OH! the cider. :rolleyes1

I wonder if they'll be doing the shrimp in September? I love shrimp. We really enjoyed this one in '08, but my mom wasn't feeling well and only had a few bites to eat. I was a bit worried and it kinda wrecked the mood a bit.

Colombia Harbor House - wonderful tuna fish sandwich.

That's the second time today I've heard about the tuna fish there! Maybe I'll have to try it. I was thinking about the fried shrimp. Maybe Jason and I will split them and have the best of both dishes! :lmao:

Earl of Sandwich - can never go wrong with this one.

I have been craving EoS since we left in '08. Oh my gosh, it was SOOOOOO good!!! I wish we had a local franchise here. I also noticed their super cheap breakfast prices. We may have to pop over there from OKW a couple of times to have breakfast!

That sounds really good right now. I've been craving sweets this week. I know why too. Jason bought me chocolates for Valentine's Day. I tend not to crave sugar if I haven't had sweets in a while. But, just one treat will make the cravings come back. :headache:

Yeah, they still have the Spicy Grilled Peel-n-Eat Shrimp. They try to fill you up with the bread/salad/appetizers (Honey Coriander Chicken Wings
Pork fried dumplings, Sweet Golden Pineapple). I'm there for the Proteins :goodvibes (and bread pudding with bananas/caramel)

EoS opened up 4-5 Service Plaza on Florida's turnpike (so we can get one anytime, but the menu @ DTD is much, much more...AND during the fall/winter season they have the HOLIDAY SANDWICH (it's like turkey dinner with all the fixin's between 2 pieces of the toasted artisan bread...it's making me hungry, lol)

Now my tummy is growling! :rotfl:

For those of you who contacted me regarding my dilemma with regards to my flights for the cruise in september. Here is what has happened since I last posted. I have had 2 computers crash, the wireless in the house go out twice as well as the cable. Cable got fixed, have to replace the airport extreme from apple, have already bought a new computer (thank god I have carbonite as a backup), had a credit card compromised, booked the flights for september. The flights are: leaving Milwaukee on the 17th at 7:30am, staying at the Hyatt (airport), have the disney transfers on the 18th, on the 22nd, take disney transfers to Boardwalk where i reserved a studio for 10points, flying home on the 23 at 12noon. I have also found out that the Hyatt stay certificate that I had for the night before was not the the one that Hyatt takes so reserved a room anyway. Found out that I can use the Hyatt stay certificate in March when I have to go to Indiana. As for the flights there was only 1 direct flight and multiple flights with connections. Also the freezer in my fridge went out, and I am hoping that is it!

Also for those that asked I live 30 min north of Milwaukee and about 10-15 min from Lake Michigan.

But I have everything booked. :woohoo::yay:

I sure hope your string of bad luck has ended!!! Where at in Indiana will you be visiting? I'm glad you got everything booked!! :thumbsup2

I think we'll go with the later dinner. No worries on the EMHs. September hours are already out and I know which parks to avoid. :thumbsup2

Where did you see September hours?! PLEASE point me in the right direction for those so I can do some planning!!!! THANKS!

So, what types of "extras" are you thinking of for the cruise?

I'm considering:

  1. Rainforest Passes
  2. A Spa Villa for Two
  3. Remy
  4. A Cabana on CC
If money were no object I'd do them all! But, sadly that is not the case. :rotfl:

On the 15th cruise we are doing parasailing & jet skiing. I'm seriously thinking about booking Remy, but I don't want to miss a night in the regular dining areas. So, I'll have to think about that some more!

I think i'll bring a Magic Bullet and some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and make my own Blizzard!:cloud9:

:thumbsup2:drinking1

Uh no and no, wonder if they do take out?

We will keep trying though

Keep trying....and if you don't succeed, don't forget you can go as soon as you get onboard and wait in line to book it. Here's some pixie dust to help! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Sorry Wally and Terrie!! I wish we didn't have to cancel our trip to wdw.:guilty: It would have been great to meet up with yunz (a little Pittsburgh slang). Can't wait till the cruise!!

OMG - this sandwich is soooooo good, messy but yummy!!!

Speaking of food at Disney. The Disney Parks Blog has pictures of two of my favorite Disneyland dishes, The Monte Cristo Sandwich and the Diver Scallops with Lobster Lemon Sauce (from Napa Rose).

That scallop dish was one of the best things I've EVER eaten. Incredible!!!!

Ok, so I just called DCL and told the lady I had 23 reservations to link together so that we could all be on the same dining rotation. She lets me start giving her the reservation numbers and halfway through she informs me that I shouldn't link any more reservation numbers until after everyone has booked their shore excursions.:headache::mad::headache: WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL ME THAT BEFORE I STARTED GIVING HER THE RESERVATION NUMBERS??!!! GGGRRRRR!!!!!

So, I guess I can't link the rest of the reservation numbers until closer to the cruise.

I love DCL but they really need to come up with a better reservation system! Don't they know they're dealing with the world's most detailed planners?!

Why would that matter? It's not as if once our reservations are linked we can't still book shore excursions ourselves, right? I wonder if a different CM would tell you a different answer.

Hi Debbie!

For the SSMC09 cruise, the person that organized the linked dining sent DCL a spreadsheet with all the details. She sent me some information a while back. I will see if I can find the details she provided.

:confused:What do shore excursions have to do with dining reservations? :confused:Did I miss something somewhere?
