Here are some more "WARM" pictures for your viewing pleasure!

I'm kind of bummed that it doesn't look like there's going to be a "secret deck aft 7" on the Dream. :sad2:

And I'm DREAMing of THIS view rather than the two feet of snow and snowflakes coming down that I currently see outside my door.

My current home isn't very welcoming today. It's cold, windy, and too much of the white stuff on the ground! I wish I was at my other home!

And, somewhere on a warm sunny beach, someone is building a sand castle right now. If we want to build anything it would be a snow fort or a snow man out in the frigid cold windy elements of winter!

Thanks Mike,

Short ride lines sounds excellent for those of us who prefer the action. Looking forward to it now, hope it fits in our schedule (and budget). We will make it a point to ride Space Moutain, too (just have to take turns babysitting Laran). Did you see any of the shows? Is it possible that their shows are really that much better, or do you think it's just their cultural preference?

I think it is just the cultural preference. The wild west show in the rodeo arena was different from anything at WDW. The other shows were like what we have at Disney. They test shows at different parks, We saw the auto action stunt show there before it came to HS. There may be a new show there, let us know when you go. Space Mountain is outstanding. You start outside and rocket into the dark for the rest of the ride. Have fun!

Well, it is officially official - my best friend and I will be joining all y'all on the SS Member Cruise 2011.

DCL has apparently had me booked since October (when I first started getting emails about the sailing) but DVC was not aware that my waitlist had cleared so quickly. Now I don't have to worry about being tempted to use my points for something else. :)

We've got 2nd dining seating with the 7pm show and now I'm just waiting to find out if my most amazing :wizard: assistant server from my first cruise will be back on the ship in September so I can request him for this cruise.

Looking forward to seeing some DISers in September.

Glad to have you on board with us :welcome:

Happy to hear that everyone made it through the storm ok. Hope Junior is getting some rest now. We only got about 14" here but the drifting is pretty bad in spots. Our poor dogs are very happy. DH keeps shoveling a small path for them but they still don't want to go out.

We will still take Junior! Plus we have a world class medical center should he hit another curb. They are still saying 1-3 inches of snow on Friday and it is colder in Dallas for the super bowl than in Pittsburgh or Green Bay. So much for the fans coming to Texas to escape winter.

Thanks, Terri! I'm not sure if he's getting rest or if he's back out on his route. I'm sure after his accident last night they put him in another truck to continue plowing. I'm not sure how much of a break he got after his all night shift ended at 6:00 this morning. His regular day shift starts at 7:00 am, so I don't know how they're working that. All I know is he said the soonest he MIGHT be off work would be 3:00 this afternoon. They've never had to stay all night like that. This director of the street department is handling it totally different than the last two blizzards were handled... so we'll see.

Are people going as crazy there as they did here? I heard about grocery stores having NO shopping carts available because they were ALL being used. I heard about there being no parking spots left in the grocery store parking lots because everyone was panicking and shopping to stock up on groceries. I heard that WAL MART had run out of milk and bread. This snow was only supposed to happen for 24 hours, not a whole week! lol Don't get me wrong, I made sure I had milk and bread and essentials and snacks for us to eat, but I didn't go nuts and buy five gallons of milk and ten loafs of bread!

No reports of hoarding, people do stay off the roads since we do not know how to drive on ice.
