Hi! I'm around today, my day off...Just checking out the prices on airfares, hotels, etc...Lots of fluctuation in prices, I just don't want to wait too late until the prices go up. Been scoping out hotels in CCB/PC. My husband brought me coffee. How's it going back east?

Sorry Andy!!! Here I am - just a tad later! It was a "go to my mom's" day to make sure she got to her hairdresser appointment and has everything she needs for the NEXT snowstorm that wasn't supposed to be a snowstorm but now IS !!! Then took DS to the doc's and now back home - yuck!

But now I have a cup - - if anyone is here - Andy . . . oh Andy . . .

Wow, two for the price of one

I have been waiting to book my airfare also. I am hoping Jetblue opens the dates I need sometime soon. I will be booking at a DVC resort on 2/15, 7 month mark... Although the temperature went up a bit (back to low double digits this morning) we had our "trial run" snowstorm followed by a touch of rain. Just enough to make you say, awww crud! Supposedly, tomorrow night we will once again have a true snowstorm and it appears the timing will again have me up at 3 am to shovel before leaving for work on Friday.


I am very glad you got your coffee (both of you) and I hope that DS is not too sick or anything. I had 2 dogs extremely sick last night and leaving all kinds of "presents" for me everywhere I looked (and trust me, I made sure to look so I would not step in it) Quite messy to say the least. Today everyone appears to be better, just slightly sluggish.

I am really hoping that the storm tomorrow night gives us all or nothing. Either I want it to be a non-issue or I want enough that I get to stay home from work.

I hope all of the "non-Sues" and Sues alike are all doing well too. Sorry to focus my conversation on these two lovely ladies but who could help themself!

UPDATE ON DDTD MEET:
Still waiting the "official" okay from Schaumburg. My vacation guide called today and said it is just a matter of making sure they have enough people to work/accomodate us. DDTD has a few other things/groups coming in that day and they need to make sure staffing is appropriate. Will give you the final OK when I get the email. He said it should be in a few days.

Oh I _hate_ those nights. My little girl in my avatar has serious food allergies. One piece of popcorn snatched up by her causes her to need to be out every 30 to 45 minutes all night long. Ugh! Horrible. Any idea what caused the problems for your pups? Hope they are over it now!
