G'day!

Hi everybody, we are back home from the world. Why can't we live there:confused3 (said in a whiney voice)

We had a great great time. A few problems with the monorail being down, got to know the cab company pretty good. The parks and CR, BLT were all packed, worse than I've seen in a long time. Long waits everywhere. The crowds thinned out by Monday & Tuesday. It was very chilly when we first got there, evenings were in the lower 40's. It did get warmer everyday.

The wedding planning was wonderful we got a lot done. Only needed to call paramedics 1 time for Mark when the prices came out, just kidding.;) So now we have to start picking and choosing what is important and what she can do without.

Poor Will Katie's fiance got sick and we needed to make a run to Celebration Hospital by cab again. He is fine he had Pharlingitis (sp) or something along those lines, it's sign and symptoms of strep throat. He was given meds and we were on our way home. Wait time at that hospital 4 1/2 hours.

Snowing here today and now Katie went to doctor she has double ear infections and sinus infection. Welcome home right?
I tried to get on the dis a couple of times while there and couldn't, I'e read some of you had trouble too. That was good to know I thought it was my netbook Tinkerbell.
Hope everyone is having a good week!:cool1:

Ok, I'm going a little crazy here. Last nite, when I was online I found a little cheat sheet for the DREAM that someone had posted a link to. It showed what deck each of the restaurants, clubs, etc was on and folded in half. I thought I found it somewhere on the disboards or on allears.net. Didn't want to print it last nite, thought I'd print it from work today but I can't find it. Does anyone know where the link is?:confused3

I am really hoping that the storm tomorrow night gives us all or nothing. Either I want it to be a non-issue or I want enough that I get to stay home from work. :thumbsup2

Hmmm, perhaps i should have kept my big mouth shut!!! Spent almost 6 hours straight out there today and I was using a snowblower... The snow was piled up so high I had to make a run on top of the pile and then do it again to get the bottom. All kinds of fancy tricks to try to get it all. Then to make matters worse, yesterday it snowed and then had a light rain, the temps dropped big time and then the major snow started. End result? a huge pile of snow on top of a very solid layer of ice :headache::mad:

Anyway, the dogs have their "raceway" back again, I am able to get my car in and out of the driveway and best part, I am in the house and am not going back out until I must leave for work in the morning. If the house catches fire, I am putting on my fire dept stuff and staying inside with my dogs. Maybe we will cook hot dogs or make smores.

Shawn/Milford, are you guys staying @ WDW after our May cruise on the Dream?

Yes we are staying at AKV Jambo House post cruise. Staying at the Swan or Dolphin pre cruise so we can catch the last day of the flower and garden show at Epcot.

Good evening everyone!!

Did anyone in the Chicago area catch Eric from Eric and Kathy 101.9 today on Regis and Kelly?

Speaking of talk shows.....ANDY, did you see Oprah Wednesday???? Anyway, she named the top four happiest jobs in America. They were: clergymen, travel agents, firefighters, and special education teachers. Thought that was pretty cool. I teach special eduation and I am honestly not sure if I am completely happy with my job....can be tough at times. What about you???

Kelly:)

G'day!

Ha Ha Ha (apparently the smilies aren't working here). That's funny Jennifer, and good timing! For those of you who don't know, Orange is a British cellular phone service provider, so that's why he tried the Blackberry on Orange.

I'm sure after some rum, the blackberry, apples, and dongles will be an interesting conversation! :rotfl: :lmao:

Speaking of which, I would say that many of our dongles, here on the SSMC thread are older models, and thus are larger and slower than the barely broken-in ones the whipper-snappers have now-a-days. :)

I can completely understand where she is coming from. I am guessing that it is more satisfaction received than actually being happy all the time. As a firefighter, I completely agree that it is satisfying and although every job has "negative" time being a firefighter has had a lot more "positive" time for me. Now, being a Fire Chief... that is a totally different story. Still gratifying but a lot more BS, bureaucracy, regulatory requirements, immense liability and you gotta be the bad guy quite often. That being said, I would rather do that than any other type of job. :cool2: :thumbsup2

Well John, I surely am unable to speak on any size comparison between older and newer models of dongles. However, I have developed a presumption based upon the amount of commercials starring "Smiling Bob" and couples in claw-footed tubs on the beach that the vacuum tubes in many of the older models must have become deflated. :lmao:

So true Andy. Lara does really enjoy using my solid state dongle.

Thanks John - I figured it was something like that.
