Good idea!!!!! I just wish I had purchased some of the Mickey Crocs Flip Flops when I was at WDW in September! :sad1:
I would need to get a pedicure as well. I would get one if my sister in law would convince my brother to get one with me ... or go shopping for Mickey Crocs ... (I'm thinking that the shopping for the Crocs might be the easiest solution!)

I have always had a hard time wearing flip flops.

Hope everyone is having a great day! Off to do some :laundy: .. I'll be around ... but then it will be time for THE game!

Everything is better with coffee. I  my Keurig coffee maker, just thought, I'd share :goodvibes

I love mine too, all of them LOL :lmao: I got one for my house, fell in love. Got one for work, one for my nephew's house, one for the firehouse...

Did anyone else have trouble getting on the DIS last night? Mine just kept giving me an error message and wouldn't reload the page.

I did also! I was going crazy :scared1: because I needed my fix and to talk with my peeps and my computer was not allowing me. Personally, I think the laptop heard me talking about the Macbook and iPad I am going to purchase...:rotfl2:

Oh, my vote for the most ridiculous ... I can't park my _own_ car in front of my _own_ house on the street for more than 72 hours. It has to have been "substantially moved" or we can get a ticket. Well, the area in front of my house is only big enough for one car. It's so stupid.

Next to my town is an incorporated village. You are not allowed to park on the street between 2 and 3 am. Literally, they start ticketing at 2:00 exactly. I was at a female friend's house a little late one night :rolleyes1 and received a ticket marked at 2:01...

That's what dan said when he saw my post! He got some when we were there a few weeks ago, but I took a pass. I am thinking about calling up and having them shipped. I love the hot pink and orange ones!!:cool1:

Michael, I have taken Dan to get pedicures with me before. He tends to balk at the polish!! He already has the Mickey croc flip flops!!

Appleton says that you cannot part on any street between 2a and 5a. It is enforced on occasion. When I asked the Chief of Police about this, I was told that the officers are out looking for crime. I'm good with that but shouldn't they be also enforcing ALL the laws? :confused3

Last night I was not able to get in either. I just thought my laptop was not happy that I was using my iPhone ... :surfweb:

Now THAT has got to be the most ridiculous ordinance I've ever heard!!! I know we have some streets in our city where you aren't allowed to park on one side of the street, but I've never heard that you have to substantially move your vehicle or get a ticket. Does a code enforcement officer drive around and take pictures of where your car is parked every day?!

They chalk the tires and the pavement.:rolleyes::rolleyes: There's a ton of stupid codes here. I know there is supposed to be a good reason for all of them, but it sure doesn't feel like the Land of the Free here sometimes.

Sounds like a great way for them to make money. Do they expect everyone to get up and drive around for an hour every night? :confused3

Who do you call to order them?

Holland, MI is the same way. Except they tow your car away in addition to the ticket. When we lived there, the parking lot was full, so Lara parked on the street. Let's just say she was late for work the next day. Since it applies to the whole city, signs are posted as you enter the city limits, where you're watching traffic, not stopping to read the paragraph on the sign. Nothing is posted where you actually park, but you learn quickly.

On the upside Andy, after watching Charlie Harper on Two and a Half Men for a while, being forced to leave before 2 am could be a good thing, right?

If anyone is toying with doing an add-on via resale and not direct with Disney, please know that there are changes that go into effect on March 21 that restrict resale points purchased AFTER March 21. Resale points purchased after March 21st will not be eligible to make reservations in the Concierge Collection, The Disney Collection or The Adventurer Collection. That means you can't use those points to book DCL. Resale points purchased prior to 3/21 are grandfathered in. Disney has told the resale brokers that purchased means received by them for ROFR not the closing date. Keep in mind these "perks" are not guaranteed in the POS and can be taken away at any time by Disney regardless. So, if using your points for these categories is something important to you and you assume Disney won't take those perks away down the line, your options for adding on are, do it now via resale before 3/21 or pay a signifcant amount more by going direct after 3/21. If these perks don't matter to you and you are considering ading on, it is expected resale prices will drop even more after 3/21. I am saddened to see that Disney chose to devalue our ownership in such a manner :sad2:

How is booking the normal way we do now differ from the Concierge Collection, The Disney Collection or The Adventurer Collection? I guess one of them is related to DCL, but what are these. Is the Adventurer Collection the same as the Adventures by Disney? I guess I don't know what these three classes are. So far we have only booked resort rooms at WDW and on DCL.

So what you're hinting at is, we can buy (not rent) points on the open market for less than through Disney, plus you could obtain points at a property which is sold out. Is it (right now, before March 21st) roughly the same as the prorated loss for reduced years left, or is it significantly better? Is there any speculation how much less the points might be worth after March 21st?

Even if we did buy someone else's remaining years after March 21st, if we wanted to make use of one of the Collections, we could use our current points for that, and use any points bought from someone after the deadline for basic resort accomodations, right?

Does this affect the rental of points in any way?

I hope this makes sense. It's hard to ask question, when I don't even know what I'm talking about. Thanks for the information Terrie!

Basically after 3/21, resales will be limited to the DVC resorts. Since all resales prior will be grandfathered, you may use those points for DCL and the other collections. I believe RCI is open to both. If you use points mainly for DVC resorts, then there really is not any impact. Personally, I believe we will see more changes by DVC down the road. But this is speculation. Check out the DVC boards for more information.

The signage is the same with this village, posted under the "welcome" sign in relatively small type, no way you can read it as you drive past.

It could be a good thing, unless you still want to ummm, communicate more...:rolleyes1:cool2:

I think the people to call are WDW merchandising gift services. Mousegears in Epcot was the store that had the largest selection, that I saw. I think they were about $40 per pair. I will pm you with the phone number.

Thanks. Do sizes run true to size?
