Happy Birthday Junior! (Hope DW didn't have to refer to Milford's website this time )

:rotfl: No, I didn't!! I wished him a happy birthday when I first woke up this morning. I just didn't have a chance to hop on the computer until just a little while ago. I FINALLY took the kids to get their picture taken with Santa. I wanted to go to Bass Pro Shop to get a free picture and then we had to wait over an hour for the picture so we went to the restaurant to eat and spent $25 on a meal! :sad2: I just can't win!!!

Happy Birthday Junior!

It's also my baby's birthday (he's 25 today) :scared1:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR BABY!!!!! I remember when I thought 25 was old. Now it seems like 25 is just a child still and that makes me feel old!! :rotfl:

:confused3 Ian, so not fair posting pics of the Caribbean while we are getting ANOTHER 5-6 inches of snow tonight! :scared1:

Don't forget the rest of the snow we're supposed to get on Thursday night. We're supposed to get 2-5 inches tonight and then at least 5 more inches Thursday night. And it's always more accumulation north of us, so I don't even want to guess at how much you're supposed to get. This year it seems like the weathermen/women have been right on with each prediction....unlike recent years when they predict this huge accumulation and we just barely get a dusting!

I hope everyone in the path of the snow has safe travels to/from work or Christmas shopping or wherever you need to go. :thumbsup2

:lmao:I have actually stopped paying attention to the forecast.. :confused3:
Not actually going to change anything and it will STILL take me twice as long to get anywhere...

If there's any snow in the forecast I'll make sure to close the doors leading north. :thumbsup2 I can't promise that somebody else won't open them back up though. :rotfl:

Speaking of snow & flights ... remember Lara was delayed by one day getting to London due to snow in Chicago? Well, London just had snow (blizzard?) conditions which pretty much closed the city. Her return flight got canceled, and the best they could do was three days later including 4 transfers! As you know 1 layover can be risky, so the chances of pulling it off was weak. She had the presence of mind to grab a hotel room, so she didn't have to sleep in the airport floor like most travelers. Today two seats opened on a flight out tomorrow, so that's the current plan. London is calling for more snow tonight, but Wednesday a little worse (currently one runway is open). Fingers Crossed.

Well....I didn't even get to see Junior all except for about half an hour. He worked from 7 am till about 10 pm. He worked his day job, then worked his second job and got called in for overtime to plow at his day job. Now today he had a 5:00 a.m. start. Poor guy! I DID bake him his favorite cookies - mini reeses peanut butter cups inside chocolate chip cookies baked in mini muffin pans....YUM!

Well, I gotta go clear the driveway and start getting ready for work! Have a great day!!!

Thanks Debbie,

Well she is out of London and on her way to Dallas, then to Indy. I know Dallas is a little out of the way, but she decided to take a southern route, not knowing what kinda shape Chicago would be in. I just cancelled her room in London which she was holding as a backup plan, after she departed for sure.
