Happy Early Saturday evening every one! A nice day today. Trotted out the snowblower this morning as we received more gifts from the weathermens evil cabal. Went to Green Bay and saw a wonderful needle arts exhibit at the Neville Public Museum. A awesome burger for lunch and back home to do not too much for the rest of the night.

Yup, I'm on this cruise. But, we are doing a B2B. The SSMC is the second part of our B2B. So, our Port Canaveral overnight is 9/14-9/15. :goodvibes Glad to hear another recommendation for CI&S. It's always a little nerve racking staying some place new. We are doing b2b also but cruise first then disney. You will be happy with Country inn and suites. we were in 2009. We went on a cruise by RC and stayed here and was very pleased with everything for the night and will return as soon as i make reservations and I guess I better hurry since your hotel is already full. They have free continental breakfast too and of course we will get a shuttle over to the port in the morning.

The Tables in Wonderland is a card that gives you 20% off at a lot of the table service restaurants at WDW (and a _few_ counter service places and lounges too). You have to be either a Florida resident or an AP holder to buy the card. I believe it's $100 for FL residents and $75 for AP holders. There is an automatic 18% gratuity added (which works for me because that's what we normally tip). The card is good for a year, plus. For example, if you buy it on November 3, it expires November 30th of the following year.
Now this info I will pass on to a friend that does have an annual pass. Thanks for this info.

Thanks! I'll check that link out. I've kind of been toying with the idea of picking up a Southwest credit card. They give you a free RT ticket after you use the card for the first time. Tempting!

Well, I just went to check out the terms and conditions and found the link on Southwest now says get TWO RT tickets. There's an annual fee (up to $60), but that's a lot less than two RT tickets and you can always cancel the card before the next annual fee comes due. I went ahead and signed up both the DH and myself. We should be able to fly to MCO for $120 (plus the 9/11 fees). That's a lot less than the $1000 to $1200 I had planned on.:banana::banana:

Southwest.com ... bottom of the page is the link. There are still ads for the one ticket, make sure your link says two. :thumbsup2

Are there blackout dates and other restrictions, though????? There usually seems to be something, ya know?? EX) can't use on days that end in Y

From what I read, they just deposit the rapid reward credits in your account 6 to 8 weeks after you make your first purchase. I assume that they are just like any other RR credit? :confused3 I didn't see anything to the contrary. But, definitely take a look and see if you spot anything "funny".

I need to read the Black Dagger Brotherhood books. I've heard good things, but haven't gotten around to them yet.

I started the series and am currently on book 5 (story of Vishous). I believe I now have a good sense of what a crack addict must feel like :rolleyes1 I seriously think they need to place a disclaimer on the books ... Warning: Consumption of these books are apt to cause addiction in female readers. Possible side effects include: pining away for ficticious characters, sensation of being on an emotional rollercoaster, using phrases like "True" and "You feel me" into current vernacular, referring to men and women as "males" and "females", checking out all black Escalades for 6 foot 6 inch leather clad "males" that are hot enough to start an avalanche ...

Book one (story of Wrath) was good, book two (story of Rhage) even better and book three (story of Zsadist) left me utterly breathless and completely and hopelessly in love with Zsadist  Book 4 (story of Butch) was excellent too, but I can't imagine any other will consume me like book 3. Well, I'm off to get back to my current addiction and spend a little time with Vishous :goodvibes Just wanted to let you know they are totally worth getting into :thumbsup2

Good afternoon! while this was aimed at Terrie, I wanted to input my two cents (the US ones with Lincoln's head on them, not those funky looking ones you have up north). I have had a Kindle now for about 9 months or so. I used it in Florida in the bright sun next to the OKW pool, inside in various lighting, etc. and I really like it. The newer models, which are currently available, have software that tweaked a couple of bugs and added security features. The added benefit to the Kindle is that you can download free reader software to computers, iPads, smartphones, etc and then whatever page you are on with your kindle, you can pick up at that page from the other device.

If you decide the Kindle sounds good for you, check the Amazon blogs and ensure that the Canadian users do not have any issues before you buy. Otherwise, happy reading.

Ohhh! Ok, I'm totally picking these up sooner rather than later! :thumbsup2 I finished all of Laurell K. Hamilton's books in the past couple of weeks (as has Jason). I started rereading the first couple of Sookie Stackhouse books. But, I need something new to read! Thanks for the info! :goodvibes

Anyone chating up on the boards for a Dream sail away party? I believe this is the first Sunday in a while that has allowed us to do this. :thumbsup2

Ok I have a question. I bought an iPad just before Christmas and have been using the kindle application. If I have books on my kindle application on my iPad they can sync to the kindle if I had one? I thought that the DRM tied it to a specific device? If that is not the case this would be great news and I might have to get a kindle as well.

I like reading from my iPad but I find that reading from the very bright screen at times gives me a headache. I mostly got the iPad so that I could use the Coursesmart application for books for the college courses I teach.

From a different Terri - DH has had a kindle for over a year and loves it. I got mine for Christmas and have really been enjoying it. FYI: If you decide on a Kindle, Target carries these and if you have a target red card (which you can attach to a debit card, not necessarily a credit card) you get 5% off.

I think from the menu you can sync it to you kindle account, not just the device.

good evening!!!!

I have another question. Can you ship stuff like fe gifts directly to the ship if not can you ship to the resort at wdw. Thanks
