I saw pictures of all 3/4 of an inch that fell there in Portland. I almost felt sorry that everybody got a snow day there. NOT!

Yeah, kinda silly. We really aren't set up for snow here.

I WOULD SUGGEST STANDING RIGHT INFRONT OF CASTLE FOR THE MEMORIES ON CASTLE BUT MOVE BACK A BIT FOR FIREWORKS. YOU CANT SEE ALL THE FIREWORKS FROM THAT CLOSE TO CASTLE. THE NEXT NIGHT WE DID FANTASMIC AT 730pm AND TOOK BOAT TO EPCOT AND CAUGHT ILLUMINATIONS AT 9PM ON SAME NIGHT. HAD TO WALK FAST

DID I MENTION IN ST THOMAS LAURA BOUGHT A $1600 BRACELET. AFTER SPENDING THE DAY AT MAGANS BAY WE GOT DROPPED OFF DOWNTOWN. SO WE WALKED THRU THE MANY SHOPS. WE WERE LOOKING AT BRACELETS, AND THE LONGER WE LOOKED AT THIS ONE THE MORE WE WERE SURE WE WERE BUYING IT. SOOOOOOOOO I ASKED FOR A RM DRINK. THE CLOSER WE GOT TO BUYING IT THE MORE I HAD TO DRINK. WELL THEY NOW HAD GIVEN ME 4 GLASSES OF STRAIGHT RUM AND ICE. THE BRACELET WAS BOUGHT, SO WE HAD 20 MIN TO KILL WHILE THEY GOT IT READY. SOOOOOOOO WE WALKED THE AROUND THE SHOPS , RUM IN HAND. THEN WHAM! I GOT A BIG BUZZ , THE RUM KICKED IN. HAVENT BEEN LIKE THAT IN 30 YEARS. I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING ETC. LAURA WAS HANGING ONTO ME. WE GOT BACK TO THE SHIP SOMEHOW. I DONT SEEM TO REMEMBER BOARDING THE SHIP. I MISSED SUPPER BUT WAS FINE IN THE EVENING. NO HEADACHE EITHER. LATER THAT NIGHT WE WENT TO PLAY THE SLOTS AGAIN. WE USUALLY PUT ASIDE $20 EACH PER DAY TO LOSE. LAURA SAT DOWN ON ONE OF THE PENNY SLOTS WE LIKED. WHEN I CAME AROUND TO WHERE SHE WAS PLAYING SHE WAVED $4500 IN HER HAND SHE WON ON A 30 CENT BET . NEXT DAY I WON $800 SAME MACHINE. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT PAID FOR THE BRACELET AND THE MANY DISNEY PINS I BOUGHT WELL OFF TO BED JUST GOT HOME.

Your rum drinks only cost $400 each AND you paid it off the next day!

When we went to St. Thomas last November, my beers ran about $2,000 each and I'm still paying it off.

Oooh, just had a great idea for the SE/FE/SHE (Starfish/Fish/Sea Horse Extender). Now I know why Andy suggeted ALE (Aquatic Life Extender). In keeping with a reoccuring theme on this thread AND to bring something local. Every year for the Indy 500 they make a Special Edition ... Indy 500 labeled ... beer! Now wouldn't everyone enjoy a can of beer in their FE? And those with kids get an extra reward for bringing them. Problem is, the 4 cases of beer required would be too heavy and too bulky ... but wait. I have the perfect solution for that too. I'll start drinking the beers as soon as they come out, crush then cans, and stack them in old Wal-Mart bags (to keep my luggage clean). At least I'll be happy.

Honestly, still debating the FE participation. I think we're in, but don't want to commit until I come up with a good (or better) idea.

This must be the year of plans falling apart! my cousin was supposed to come with us this weekend and watch the kids for us tomorrow night while we go out (drinking-no kids allowed). Well she just sent me a message that she can't go because she has shingles. :-(

We had to cancel our spring break vacation and change things around for our September vacation. We've never had so many plans fall apart! Oh well I guess our luck was bound to run out sooner or later. Lol

Ok, this is soooo typical. After I finally made the decision to book the Poly yesterday and called and booked it, I got a phone call this morning that our wait listed 25 point add on came through. I just checked and the points are already in our account. So, now I have to decide where to stay AGAIN, book it with DVC and cancel the Poly.

We are all set for Rainforest Cafe tomorrow at 1PM!! I figured no one would want to eat lunch around 10am or so when we get out of DTD. I have made ressies for 18 adults and 3 children. If anyone else wants to come, who has not told me yet, that is pefectly fine. I told the restaurant we may have a few more. See everyone tomorrow.

This morning I decided that instead of flying home straight from the ship, I would spend one additional night at a resort to have a relaxing day of poolside bliss. Having stayed at AKV before and since I will be there prior to the trip I booked one night there. Now I am looking at this and thinking that maybe I should have booked one or more nights at BLT instead. Oh well, I guess I will get Calypso to hide me in her new DCL D&B bag and sneak me up top for the fireworks

Andy, you are going to have to scrunch up real tight! I never get the big ole D&B Disney bags. I always get the small/mid size ones. At 5 feet tall those big bags are more like toting luggage for me Switch to BLT!!!! All the cool kids are doing it If not, we'll get you snuck in somehow
