HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MICHAEL
(TIME2GO2DISNEY)
Anybody thinking about renting a cabana??? Sounds like a cool idea. Anyone want to split one???
Cannot wait for the DIS meet on Saturday!!! We are staying at Springhill Suites Friday, maybe Saturday night....if Jim lets me. What time does everyone want to do lunch? I figured Rainforest Cafe since they are large enough to seat us all at one time. How many people are coming?? I thought I would call on Friday and secure some sort of time. Let me know. I think we will have about 25 people there....counting kids. Yippee!! Don't forget to come prepared with your answer to the question...."What would your dream Disney job be?"

Hmmmm, can you still pool hop to another resort (excluding the restricted ones) as a DVC member if you aren't staying on points?
Pool Hopping Information
Whenever you are staying on your Membership at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Vero Beach Resort, or The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you and any Guests staying with you, are permitted to use most of the other Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World® Resort hotel pools (in addition to the pool at the resort hotel at which you are staying) if they are not at capacity. If the pool you are visiting reaches capacity, you may be asked to leave in order to accommodate Guests of that resort hotel. Please check with a Host or Hostess at the Front Desk of the resort hotel you wish to visit before you go to find out about pool-access availability. You must present your current "Key to the World" card with your "DVC Member" designation on it to use the other resort hotel pools.
Pool hopping is not available at Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Uzima Pool and Samawati Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts, and the leisure pool at Disney's Beach Club Villas. There are no exceptions to this policy. As a reminder, during times of high occupancy, please be mindful of the limited number of pool chairs available, and refrain from leaving towels or personal items on unoccupied pool chairs.
Resort hotel pools may become unavailable from time to time due to capacity limitations. Due to the high occupancy that is expected, Disney Vacation Club Members and any Guests staying with them may not pool hop during the following dates*:
- February 14-20, 2010 (Sun Sat)
- March 27 April 10, 2010 (Sun Sat)
- May 28 31, 2010 (Fri Mon)
- June 27 July 5 (Sun Mon)
- Sept 3 6, 2010 (Fri Mon)
- Nov 22 28, 2010 (Mon Sun)
- Dec 12, 2010 Jan 2, 2011 (Sun Mon)
*Other restricted dates may be added based on projected pool capacity
Beginning today, more kids will be able to ride the AquaDuck, the water coaster onboard Disney Cruise Lines newest ship, the Disney Dream.
MousePlanet.com first reported and a DCL spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that the minimum height requirement for kids will drop from 48 inches to 42 inches.
To ride alone, however, the height requirement increases from 48 inches to 54 inches. Also, kids must be at least 7 years old to ride alone. Otherwise, they must ride with someone 14 or older.
My husband Marty and I will stay for lunch too. Where are we meeting in the am Sat?
I was just thinking.....
Will MNSSHP be going on while we are down there in September??? I know most of us will be staying on after the cruise. Is there a chance we could actually go and see it and take part??? Not sure what the dates/hours are. Anyone know?? I am soooo doing it, if we can!!![]()
Hi Kelly,
MNSSHP usually starts around Mid-September (select nights of the week) and runs thru November 1st. I believe a few folks did MNSSHP after the member cruise.
Yippee!!! I was hoping. What is included in the price for the party? Is it every night?
Thanks, Wally!
