09/18/11 - DVCers Take Over the Dream (S.S. Member Cruise 2011) - Thread #3

Good evening everyone! I have not really chatted much the last couple of days so I wanted to just send out my best wishes to everyone out there. You have all managed to put a smile on my face when I needed it and have me going crazy in anticipation for my first cruise and getting to hang out with everybody. My "little brother" (who is no relation to me ) who will be on the trip with me has not entered into the DISNEY ZONE yet and finds it funny that all I have spoken about for the past month and a half is this trip and making plans for it.

I will be somewhat around tonite so hopefully I will catch some of you later

Lots! will be posting a list after turkey day. Theend of the year is sneaking up in me. Still getting caught up on work and the boards and have Vegas, Christmas, and the new home construction on tap- we get drywall Wednesday. Whoo hoo!

HI!!!! Thanks so much for that coffee. I just about freaked out on everyone when I went to the machine and it was dead... I figured later because I was going to have dinner but it still has a few more minutes to go. Also, I did not want to tempt you to text and drive and chat on the cell phone while listening to Disney music on your way to the airport. I actually heard the whine, thought you needed power steering fluid, sorry, did not realize it was you Anywho, I hope you enjoy your time with DD.

Well fellow dvc members, I just gave Mickey a birthday present. I bought into the DVC club at Contemporary resort tonight. So Mickey should be happy. I know we are. After watching the Web cast we could not resist anymore. So I bought DVC on Mickeys Birthday. And I did forget it was his birthday till I read everyones post just now. Everyone have a great weekend.

Hey Wally. I hope everything is going well for ya.
I have known him forever and his family is not a "Disney family". Actually, neither was mine. My first trip to the world was July '09...

My buddy John has been doing college and working to pay his way while being a very active volunteer firefighter in the local department there and a whole bunch more without much of a break. I know how much Disney did for me and helping me deal with stress and I did not have anyone immediately in mind for the cruise, so..... He gets to meet the mouse and all of you and become brainwashed in our devious ways! I figure by the time we get off the ship he will be hand painting door magnets and wearing a fish extender around his neck.

Howdy everyone! Sorry Kelly, the thread was quiet and I was right next to my computer on the couch with the dogs, which is where I woke up at 5:00 this morning...

How is everybody today? I was looking at some of the magnets that people have posted and now I am obsessed with learning how to create "stunning graphics" on my computer so I may try my hand at it. Wish me luck, I need to figure out if I have decent software on my computer to do that or not... Of course, I also need to search for the Walt Disney font (or whatever it is called) and graphics and other cool fonts and ... I think you get the idea. Obsessed is a good word for my current state of mind

I should be on and off a bit today so I will probably just stay logged in and pop in and out. Right now though I need to refill the coffee mug.

It's called waltography! They took it out of the newer version of office and I'm a little po'd about it.
