09/18/11 - DVCers Take Over the Dream (S.S. Member Cruise 2011) - Thread #3

The event was well attended at Doorway to Dreams. We arrived at 10:45 and there was a line. They had refreshments and an ornament. We saw a short movie clip. My grandson wanted the ornament so we went to the Disney store where he picked out a Buzz ball instead. We were glad we went early. We also made it to Rainforest before crowds became busy. Ended up buying the membership in case we go again while in Orlando. Stopped at Lush. Love that store. Had to share my bath bombs with my grandson. They do start early. All in all a fun day. Line for Santa was too long though.

FYI- doorway to dreams is having a Black Friday sale the Friday, Sat, Sun after Thanksgiving. Besides current promotions, pts will be an additional 10% off.

It is Mickey shaped as a Gingerbread Boy. It's silver with a red string. Has Happy Holidays on it and Disney Vacation Club.

The DVC ornament comes in a red pouch.

You guys have me laughing on here tonight. I so need the laughs right now. Aside from a very enjoyable evening with Shawn and Milford last night, I have been running like a mad woman all weekend. It has been a very stressfull weekend because of all the running. So thanks for the laughs.
