We're 70 miles from Port Canaveral so we will be parked at the port. Need to decide if I want to take the day off when the Dream arrives in January.

we are cruising out of fort lauderdale in feb. Our friends have winter home there. They are driving us back up to wdw to stay. How long does it take?

Fort Lauderdale to WDW should take about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

Best Route would be the Florida Turnpike (about 12-15$ in tolls). Terrie usually makes it up to WDW in 3 hours flat

I say take the day off!!!!! If I lived that close, I don't think it would even be a question...I would DEFINITELY take the day off to see the Dream arrive at Port Canaveral for the first time!

I agree - but I'd probably have so many excuses to take time off I wouldn't make enough money to do all the things I'd want to. Of course, I don't now either.
