OK I am now caught up..... again. As someone else said earlier, this work thing really does get in the way somtimes.

I am really trying to sneak in some disboards time during the day but it is hard with so many coming into my office to see me and talk about work. :surfweb:

Super Awesome Fish Extender source

I ordered mine today- she is on etsy as well as Facebook under the name Stitches N' Bows. www.Facebook.com/pages/Nashville-TN/Stitches-N-Bows/158846104126845?ref=ts

She totally let me design my own based on photos from her FB site as well as my imagination. Her prices are super- which is great because I am very crafty but I don't sew.

She's out a few weeks because she just got back from her own Disney cruise but is getting caught up! She really is a FE :wizard:

P.S. George if you lick my face again I will beat you, you nasty, nasty man!

Wall-E where do you put all that food. I've seen pics and I'm just not seeing it, I can't wait to watch you eat, it must be like a feeding frenzy on the Discovery Channel. popcorn::

:lmao:, I play sports 2/3 times a week. I injured my knee before the last member cruise so I had to pace myself (that's why I only had 2/3 entrees :rotfl2:). That, and I think I have the same tapeworm as Karen's dad :confused3

Here ya go ...................

My wife always "tricks" me into thinking I can just buy at the Duty Free store onboard. But as you all know, they hold that until the last day of the cruise. Then she nags at me every time I buy a drink, even though my drinks are way less expensive than hers. I think we're supposed to get a stateroom credit of $50 for booking with the Disney card.

See I am wondering what they will do to those of us on the B2B on the 9/15 cruise. Can I buy Duty Free and it just stay with me on the DVC Member cruise? It would cut down on the amount I had to pack. I could pack a couple of flasks of Crown to get me through the 3 day and then use the Duty Free Alcohol I buy on the three day for the DVC member cruise. Any one have any experience doing that? :confused3

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.This year was our 7th DISNEY CRUISE. I wish I had known about that 6 CRUISES AGO. I brought 2 bottles of APPLETONS RUM with me.:cool1:on the 2010 member cruise. It helped cut down on my bar bill. A BIT!:rotfl2:

Question???

As far as drinking the alcohol we bring aboard....do we have to keep it confined to our rooms or can we bring a bottle to the pool and mix drinks there?? I would think there would be some sort of rule, but not sure. Do people just keep going back to their rooms to "fill up"???

Sounds like an excellent strategy. I will do the same, IF I talk Lara into taking the B2B cruise. The only problem would be if you wanted to maximize your Duty Free haul, I think you would have to bring your limit off the boat and leave (in car) onshore. Then repeat process on second cruise.

I'm still trying to figure out if the Duty Free alcohol is really that good of a deal, so the whole point might be moot.

See I think the rule should state that each cruise stands on its own. So once I get off the boat that alcohol belongs to me so I would assume I could just bring it back aboard? :confused3

I might email one of the Dreams Unlimited folks and see what they say, I know someone would have done this for sure.

We packed plastic flasks filled with Crown Royal, put them in double zip locks and even wrote on the zip lock "CROWN ROYAL". We would carry a flask around in our pool bag or to the island. Use the drink dispensers and such to get ice and soda.

Last year was the first time we bought Duty Free. We got 2 one litre bottles of Crown Royal for $19.99 each. Around here they have been selling 1 litre for about 23 plus gold old Hoosier Sales tax of 7 %. At that time it was a good deal, I always check the prices locally before we go on the cruise. :cool1:

To be honest we never lived in a trick or treat friendly neighborhood and really have just not been home (parties). Going to our new house come January I have a feeling we will learn all the in's and out's soon enough! I know this much; HOOK THE KIDS UP no one likes TP tree's, saran wrapped cars, shaving cream handles, EGGS EGGS EGGS.

OK??? T;)hat's what I am talking about. Hook the kids up.

Oh...that's right. I forgot about sales tax! I just started looking in the ads for sale prices around Indy that match what was being sold on the last SSMC. I'll let everyone know what I find out.

Terri- between the crafts, pirates and love of all things Christmas are you sure we were not separated at birth?

I am wondering the same thing too :lmao: It's so nice to finally meet my long lost sister! Mom on the other hand has some 'splaining to do

Getting ready for a conference call but sneaking one in :cool1:
For you repeat folks- is the food super good? 'cause I love to eat :thumbsup2
Food details are good.... Yum...... Food porn......
Also for the b2b'ers I will be putting the list together just have a few crazy busy work days to manage first

Well if there were any doubt this cinches it! We had to have been separated at birth!!! I LOVE FOOD and will eat darn near anything you put in front of me and claim is edible :thumbsup2

I have been trying to figure that out for years! He doesn't eat particularly fast, I mean its not like watching pirahnas devour a cow. That's more me, if I am not careful, blink and it's gone  But it is impressive in its own respect because he just keeps going and right when you think he's done and can't possibly fit anymore, he orders another plate :lmao:
