Because you saw what Ian managed to do in the SSMC10 thread. We KNOW, it aint over 'til its over!

I'm really surprised that Terrie and Wally didn't pop in - they must be busy!!!

Just got back from LOTS of eating and drinking. Wally said he is full! Can you believe that? The bottomless pit is actually full...huh go figure

They mentioned something about lots of free food and alcoholic beverages. Maybe they're still drinking & eating. Actually, weren't they going to a retirement party for someone there tonight?

Oh no, not free. It was a D23 event. D23 is part of Disney and we all know, there is nothing "free" in Disney Day 1 of Sip & Stroll began this evening with a wine and cheese reception inside the American pavillion. There were also beers and cocktails and appetizers. Then we all went to the Living Seas through a CM entrance that takes you upstairs into a private VIP lounge. The dining room has a view into the aquarium. Dinner included a number of delicious selections to satisy any palate, wine, beer etc. There was one dessert that was a citrus pound cake flambayed in Bacardi 151 and served with a beer infused ice cream. It was "different". There were a number of other desserts too which were quite good! It was Disney Archives founder and Chief archivist, Dave Smith's retirement party. He is one of the Disney Legends. author of Disney, The First 100 years and Disney A to Z and a number of the Disney trivia books. Steve Clark, head of D23 was there as was Jeff Epstein the D23 Disney Geek. Tomorrow morning begins day 2 and when we will be doing some major Sipping & Strolling

I understand that Wally is in charge of the and prizes. My 2 questions are... What is he gonna get himself? How is he gonna pull off dressing as both a pirate and a princess?

Well, you've seen the pirate costume. Now if I can find the pics when I get home I know there is one of Wally dressed up for Halloween back when he was in college in what could be described as a princess I suppose. I have it on good authority that if Wally wins he will still be in charge of awarding prizes but none will be awarded to him and there might be some surprise categories too!

Yes and They're ducking from the golf ball too!!

If you duck from the golf ball you will miss the hidden Mickey on it, cant do that.
