Did someone post on this thread about that Disney Bride that was told she has to re-schedule her wedding next month? Well, anyway, that thread just got deleted a few minutes ago.

I totally missed that thread ... :confused3

Can you give us a little synopsis? :)

Her wedding is set for the third week in September at the GF Wedding Pavillion. She got a call just a few days ago saying she has to move her wedding location or change her wedding date. Yeah, less than a month's notice! She was mostly upset because shes out of the country due to work and her wedding planner has her new cell phone number but rather than calling her they called her fiancé and emailed him pictures of other venues they could choose to have their wedding. Then her wedding planner wouldn't call her back. Supposedly they waited until the day her check cleared to pay for the wedding to notify her fiancé of all this. And supposedly they aren't willing to give her any of her money back even though she will be getting married at a less expensive venue. But you know how hush-hush Disney is about any type of bad publicity....I was reading her thread last night and all of a sudden it just disappeared. :lmao: I can understand Disney wanting to avoid bad publicity, but this poor girls dream wedding that she has dreamed of since she was a little girl has just been destroyed. She needed to vent somewhere to people who would understand her devastation!

Hello all,
Just back from our dining out to benefit the Houston Bank. Yes had to endure crab cakes, romain salad, a delicious Filet with blue cheese risooto topped of with Creme Brulee. All in the name of charity:thumbsup2

Well you obviously aren't going on the cruise for the dining experience...you get cruise-like dining without leaving your hometown! :rotfl2:

Junior/Debbie,

Would you be willing to fill in for Caitlyn's Cat 5D room? Cody can't get time off work because he recently started a new job, and her Aunt Tiffany is taking his place.

I didn't mind volunteering Caitlyn & Cody to display their room, but I don't want to get on Lara's sister's bad side.

Debbie,

I don't think that should cause any problems with the linked dining, do you?

Sure we can fill in. :goodvibes. No, that shouldn't cause any problems with the linked dining....that all goes by the stateroom number and the lead name on the reservation. :thumbsup2

He is frequently good like that. Of course, I did have to provide him with something too. In this case, it was to deliver a package from our Londonish DD for his ladyfriend's youngest son. Confused? I am too...:confused3

My dinner was good. Sue's was not so very. Where do you THINK we went? (Hint: It was at Oakbrook) You have 3 guesses. I would bet that you can nail it in one! :rotfl:

Is it that restaurant with the big gigantic frog in their logo? :lmao:

Disney drive by, testing my new phone and posting skills:goodvibes
It's schweet!
ttfn,
Jennifer ;)

Hi Jennifer! Looks like the test was a success! Hope ya like your new phone!

OK I KEEP TRACK OF OUR SCHEDULE FOR OUR HOLIDAYS. CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM A COUPLE THINGS FOR ME. ON THE WONDER THERE WAS ONLY 1 SAIL AWAY JUST BEFORE 5pm. JOHN WAS SAYING ON HERE THERE ARE 2 SAILAWAYS 1 BEFORE LIFEBOAT DRILL? WHERE AND WHEN ARE WE ALL MEETING LIKE LAST YEAR ON THE SHIP BEFORE THE SAILAWAY? LAURA AND I ARE IN THE GROUP OF 10 SAILING ON THE WISHES FIREWORKS CRUISE. SO WE SHOW UP AT 8pm BEHIND THE CONTEMPARY AT THE DOCKS? WHAT ABOUT THE BOOZE RULE ON THE 19th DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THAT INCLUDES OUR SAILING ON THE 18th. NEED TO KNOW IF I CAN STILL BRING MY 2 BOTTLES OF RUM/:scared1:

When the dream first started sailing, they had two sail away parties. They have since just changed it to one from what I hear. I thought it was a little silly to have a sail away party when you weren't really sailing away at the end of the party. :rotfl2:

And I'm pretty sure we are meeting at 3:00 on embarkation day but the location hasn't been 100% confirmed yet.

Yeah, watch that. Make sure that you warm up and stretch well before you play. A friend of ours went to go up for a jump shot and didn't go anywhere. It was totally torn. Surgery and 6 months in a full leg cast. A week after he got the cast off, he was walking up the stairs, and did the same thing again! :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Needless to say, it was the same thing all over for him. One. Whole. Year. In a full leg cast. :sad2:

I cringed when I read this! I couldn't imagine being in a full leg cast for six months let alone a whole year!! Poor guy!

Good lord.....What a chatty thread.

For the FE, what does one give adults?

The gifts range from home made crafts with a Disney theme or the SSMC theme. To Disney themed store bought items from Michaels or Target in their dollar section. Or even just candy. It's entirely up to you how simple or elaborate you want to get with it.

OMG ITS 9/1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CRUISE IS THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol morning all :)

WOO HOO!!!! :yay: :yay:

Nah, there isn't a Rainforest Cafe at Oakbrook. There are some other really good restaurants though!

Oh...well you said to guess so that was my guess. :rotfl2:

Wow! Looks like everybody vanished! Must be some pixiedust: floating around in the air!

For those of you who like pecan rolls, Panera™ has some pretty good ones. Turns out that even the BEST ones can be improved upon by simply taking them home cutting them in thirds, and throwing them in a frying pan with a little bit of butter until they are a bit browned and warm...

That is it for my Tip o' the Day™.

As we get close to page 250, I just checked page 1 to see if Milford has Thread 13 warming up in the bullpen.

Not yet ... :confused3

So relax everyone, I'm sure it will be ready shortly! :thumbsup2

I was doing some stuff (like laundry, watching the police stop a car in front of the house ... )

Dan, they also have delightful breakfast quiches. YUMMIE! :thumbsup2

I feel so badly for her. I really hope that she does end up with the wedding that she has always dreamed of and wish her and her new husband many years of happiness! :goodvibes
