Hey Karen,
Outta way to give it the ole college try! hehe By the time we get to this cruise it will have been our 7th cruise!! We have one scheduled for Sept 18th of this year ( The Wonder alone with no kids for the 2nd time woohoo! ) Then we are taking the Double DIp on 05/27/06 as a family ( God willing) I am not sure what we are doing for this cruise. I booked it solely because DH and I sailed on the Wonder this past Sept and met ericamanda01 and her DH and we clicked. THey were not sailing again until this date, so essentially we are stalking them! I currently hve the whole gamily booked in two cat 10s but chances are, that most likely it will just be DH and myself......only time will tell.....if the hoodlums do end up coming we have 4, currently they are 9,8,5 and my baby will be 2 (eek ) on the 30th! And with the exception of my youngest child, we would probably be most like your precious table mates, except we ain't forcin a no one! HEHEHE We see enough of each other at home So thats our story and we are sticking to it. Now I just realized that my baby's birthday is in 6 days and I haven't done the 1st thing!!

Hi guys! I'm back! You guys have been really busy. I can't believe all of the posts that I have to read and catch up on. I did go through some of the posts and was surprised to see that we now need a passport to cruise. Does that new rule go for the kiddos too? I see that everyone met my buddy, Amymouse! We had the pleasure of cruising together in May of 04 on the Disney Wonder. I'm gonna catch up on all the posts. I'm sure I'll have a lot to say once I get through it all. Why can't this cruise be this September????

Okay. I'm jealous. Everyone seems to know someone else on this cruise! I want to be stalked, too!!!

I just read through all of the posts in this thread. Ugh! My eyes they are-a-burnin'!

You know, I'm seriously considering travel insurance for this cruise, but I'm just not sure. We've never purchased it before, but considering all the hurricanes last September... Supposedly, hurricanes are going to be much more prevalent than in the past. As in, the frequency of last year's storms will be the NORM, not the exception. My agony over the insurance is because of my Diabetes. Yep. Lucky me. Type 1 for nearly 30 years. I wear an insulin pump, though, so good control is my friend. Not sure what to do because of the stupid pre-existing condition ka-ka. Discrimination!, I say!

I like the idea of some kind of a get-together onboard. My husband is so friendly and easy-going... He'll be up for it!

Guess I should save some of this drivel for another post. Gotta inflate those numbers!!!

Hi Karen and welcome! All I can say about the insurance is that I am sooo glad we bought it last year-Hurricane Jeanne changed our trip a bit and the insurance we purchased paid for basically all the added expenses! Now with the pre-existing condition I don't know how that works for the medical aspect-but for the trip interruption or cancellation it was a relief!
I also read that Pres. Bush is trying to stop the requirement of passports-doesn't want to stop all the incoming traffic from Mexico. Haven't heard anything definitive yet though.
Hey Missy, did you guys get any snow down there this last weekend? Nothing like a nice snowstorm in the middle of spring! UUGGHH!

Yes.......we had the snow, but it just snowed and snowed but did not stick. However the kids were supposed to go and stay with my SIL in Strongsville for the weekend and couldn't go because of the weather!!!!!! Can you tell I am a little bitter. lol

All else is well.........holding my breath that my position at work will get funded for next year so we can afford all these vacations! Keep me in your prayers (vacations are important you know).

My kids had their very 1st TaeKwonDo tournament this afternoon! My dd (8) got 3rd place in sparring! My DS (9) got 1st place in sparring and 3rd place in forms! And my little tiger cub DS (5) was awesomely cute!

Where do your kids do TKD-- which school/federation? Our kids are with Red Tiger/USTC and have a tournament up coming the end of the month (in Philadelphia, PA) that people from all over the country come to. Congrats to the kids for placing so well.

We've been bogged down in the adoption paperwork-- what a nightmare. I feel like I'm bribing every county, state, and federal government agency, but hopefully we'll have a new family member to take on the cruise.

Where does everyone stay the night before? We'll be staying down near port for the first time so we're looking for input.

That's great! My parents are building in Palm Coast and should be there by July as well! Great place to vacation and live! Good Luck!

Hey Darcy .......we are getting very fired up for this September. With my sister going it should be really fun, we are extremely close and the kids are too. Bo and I have never seen much night life on the ship, but we plan to this year!

I am chomping at the bit to get my contract renewed for next year at work. I feel a little devious not telling anyone about the cruise we have in September. When you work in the schools, it's not real cool to take a week off in September! I feel like I have to go on with my life while they decide on their funding though...........hopefully no one at my school is a disboarder lol.....shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh


I don't know how I will pull off 2006, if I am still there. I guess we will worry about that when the time comes. It is so cheap that we can not cancel! We'll see.

Only 3 more weeks till schools out and the weather has finally turned the page in central Ohio..........life is good .

Missy, I still don't know how you are gonna make it this cruise without your "travel agent back home!" LOL You know you can always call me (I hope you don't need too though!) I hope for everyones sake that those damn hurricanes stay away for the next few years! School was supposed to be out 6/7 but we got an added day d/t snow days this year! first time for that! Kids aren't real happy about the extra day. Hope everyone else is doing well out there!
