Hello everyone! Haven't posted in a while but lurk now and then. How exciting to be thinking that next week we will be on CC at this time!

I'm a bit bummed after reading about how bad the band on board is. When we cruised in May the Beach Bugs were fantastic! They really added to the enjoyment of our cruise. We stayed up late listening to them every night. I'm hoping that X.O.M. gets the boot before next week. This is my one big gripe with DCL. In nine cruises we have only experienced two good bands. The other one we enjoyed, The Charles Marshall Band, was let go.

HI Donna long time no see! I have never really experienced tha band before so I cant say I noticed but this new band must be really bad of folks are starting threads about them.
The one thing from the past that I never got to see that was supposed to be fantastci was the Dueling pianos with Fidelio? Anyone here ever see that ?

What was is a Konk Kooler??? I have bartended for many years and I can honestly say, I have never heard of a Konk Kooler.....dumpster punch yes but not a Konk Kooler, no.

Being as it is my civic bartending duty, I will be ordering one....but can someone tell me what it is made of?

Hello! We haven't left yet, but we have decided to leave Thursday evening instead of Friday. This is getting so excited. I packed some more things this morning that I knew we would not be using this week, and realized a couple things that I had forgotten about.

Have you heard from Amanda? I bet she is having so much fun at WDW.

Oh, I almost forgot. I am pretty sure that the Disney Cruise special will be on the Travel Channel again tonight at 8:00. I didn't look on the web site, but the other day when it was advertised and I am almost positive that it said today. If you are home, flip over to the Travel Channel. If I'm right, you can get a little taste of the Magic.

I ran to the office and picked up some work to do here at the house this afternoon, but I just can't get motivated to work. This cruise may turn out to be the best vacation that I have ever taken, but it's ruining my office. Seriously though, the closer this cruise gets the harder it is for me to do anything but get ready for it. I have a couple things that absolutely have to be done before I leave, so I have to work on them tonight and tomorrow.

Yeah, the advertisement just ran again, and Disney Cruise Line will definitely be on the Travel Channel at 8:00 tonight. Can anyone guess what I will not be doing at 8:00? You're right! I will not be doing my work!!!!

Amanda, I picked up a couple rolls of quarters just in case I needed them for laundry. So, if you need a buddy to play that game with, give me a call. I have never played, but I'll try almost anything once. I have a feeling that I'll have alot of time. If all the activities stay the same as the sample Navigator's which have been posted for the other Double Dip Cruises, DD is planning to spend all her days in the Lab and evenings with me. Most of the things she wants to do in the evenings are family activities that she wants us to do together.

I must be all alone this afternoon. Where is everyone? I bet you are all sitting around imagining being on Castaway Cay soaking up sunshine. This time next week, our first stop at Castaway Cay will be quickly coming to a close. But, it will be alright because we will know that we will be back in five days!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Well I came home and the clouds came. So we put away all the outside stuff, just in case we have a storm while we are gone.

DH is attached to the TV- football has started. I wonder if I will lose him next Sunday to the TV?

Am I next. We leave Tuesday. I am baking cookies to drop off Tuesday with the college boys. We were going to take them out to dinner, but my oldest is in an apartment and wants to cook. This should be interesting. I am betting on mexican or spaggetti. I don't think he cooks more than that.

Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful cruise! I am kind of sad because this was supposed to be our 1st Disney cruise but we had to cancel. The only postive to this is we are going to Disneyworld instead! Hopefully we will get to take this cruise someday. Have a great time!

well we got bandanas and mini swords for pirate night, i got a pair of earings..hair dye...over the door shoe hanger...forgot the disposable cameras..will have to stop for those tomorrow...

On Tuesday when I walk out the door at 430...a feeling of lightness will come over me...the air will smell fresher and I will feel like im walking on a cloud...I also get this feeling of being free....the walk to my car and the drive home feels soooo good..its happens to me every time i take vacation and im going away...

Almost. We're almost all packed, and we leave tomorrow by 8:30 AM. We'll be in DW by Tuesday late morning (hopefully).

I don't remember- for kids under 18, do we sign their name or ours on the Bahamas immigration forms?

You all definitely have the wrong person at the piano! I do not have a musical bone in my body. DH and I are more the "watchers" than the "doers". Believe me, if I were to dance I would make Elaine on Seinfeld look good!
