But just remember you don't have to wait until Castaway Cay to order this drink. We usually get one right after lunch at the Outlook Bar by the Adults Pool. Less crowded at this bar. But can order at any location even at lunch in Parrot Cay.

:thumbsup2 Good 2 know!

Glad u guys had a good time at the Fest...Im soo jealous of your costumes...my kids is a few things from the Good Will and mine is stuff that I have and kinda can pass for piratey..kinda!

The kids refused to let me stain their shirts..so they will be wearing crisp clean white shirts for pirate night...guess they dont trust me!!!

You're a girly girl... huh? princess: :rotfl: :cheer2:

Just kidding.... :p

Seashells ~ Mekayla and Zack went swimming yesterday so all the time and $$$ spent flat ironing her hair is down the tubes... her hair's "poofy" again (which is actually a cute look with the corn rows in the front of her head.) I don't think we'll bring a flat iron on board (Mekers thinks I'm gonna' spend two hours of my vacation doing her hair everyday ~ she doesn't fully understand the idea of "vacation")

In case u change your mind...im bringing my flat iron :teeth:

Thea give your camera to dd! My kids love cameras and are all the time begging for a digital camera/ We gave a cheaper kodak to my DS for christmas and he loves it. If she does not want it, save it, Ill take it off your hands. My DD has been begging for one.

Good idea princess :thumbsup2

My kids are getting one disposable with 27 pics...I do this every vacation...I should just get them an inexpensive real camera...

Was just on weather.com and there is another tropical storm brewing it is going to be called Gordon. They expect it to take the same track as Florence and stay away from the U.S. Let's also hope it stays away from Castaway Cay, because it sure will be hard to parasail in 80 mph winds but I'll give it a try. What I am really concerned about is my food blowing away at the barbeque.

Brian :thumbsup2

With 80 mph winds u might not even need a parachute to fly!

So I wake up this morning with butterflies fluttering around my innards...I dont know if its the excitement of the trip or my fear of flying..and instead of doing my yoga I am here reading and posting....

...after work i will do my last shopping (for the second time!!!) and i still havent sat with my dad for lessons on how to use the camera/dvd recorder!!

Why cant I just use my trusty fugi 35mm???

have u found the missing suitcase??...

bubble wrap is for any breakable souviners or alcohol....

I found the missing suitcase! I was actually productive this morning, I got up, did some dishes and rummaged through the back bedromm (ie storage room) and found the lugagge! I also found the DCL lanyards from last cruise with pins on them (I wasn't even missing those) and DD's autograph book... she's gonna' flip out when she wakes up, now she can have autographs from both cruises in one book! I also found her EPCOT passport! Think I can get by using that one?!?!? :rotfl: I found all this crap I wasn't even looking for but now I am so glad I have it.

Seashells ~ DD may bring hair iron along after all. She made this pouty face when I said I wasn't going to redo her hair! :guilty: Do you have one with the little teeth that gets the roots? We don't but the lady I took Mekers to the other night had the ceramic stove and the irons ~ have you seen those? Very fancy shmancy...I want one. I went to my local Sally's and they sell the stove but not the irons that you're supposed to put into it! How crazy is that? I am going to look for irons in Portland and Washington on Wednesday...there is no ethnic diversity in this little town. They don't have good black hair products. Well now I AM TIRED...and I have to be at work in two hours...nice pirate:

Hi ladies  (and gents?)

I spent several hours last night (yes hours) trying to figure out which cruise we will need to book onboard ... and I broke the news to DH about the fun people (he totally understands that I partially base our future cruise decisions on fun new and notsonew DIS friends) on "we are better than leftovers" leaving the Sat after Thaksgiving next year ... and of course I considered the not quite so pricey rate ... and DS will have a birthday that week ... and since we homeschool, we have great flexibility for school ... and ... it looks like we will be joining them. :Pinkbounc Just wanted to pass out that FYI in case any other DoubleDippers are undecided on the rebook, we could just continue on with this group indefinitely :goodvibes

I totally realize I must appear absurd to some of you, but I just like to know "when/where I am going next" ... otherwise it is just too traumatic to leave that "Magic"al ship!! :p

We are off to DL today to pick up Pirate Mickey ears (I don't ask DH to dress up in full costume, but I really want us to wear the pirate ears). Oh and we always wear matching shirts for the "welcome aboard" photos (he has agreed to humor me by wearing Lime Green doubledip shirts, what a guy!). After that, we pretty much throw tropical shirts over swimsuits and hang out on deck whenever there is not a bingo game, or minigolf contest, or other event we "just cannot miss". ;)

Sending pixie dust your way for a safe travel to the port. :wizard:

Yep, know what you mean, Karen. I have already been thinking about that too. In fact, since Spring 2003, there's not been a time when we didn't have a cruise booked. I think we've booked onboard each time, except the last one we took, and that's because we already had one booked for this September!

We want to do an Eastern next. Then maybe the 10 night Holiday cruise!!! I would love to do the 10 or 11 night that the Wonder does in September, but that's just too long to pull DD out of school.

Hello everyone. I ran home for a late lunch and thought I would see who has been on line. Sounds like everyone is doing last minute things. Can you believe it is here? We are talking only a few days now.

What happens if its raining for MNSSHP..is it cancelled? if not, would it be any fun in the rain??

It will still happen, rain or shine! Rain may affect the fireworks and parades (maybe not) but other than that, it'll be business as usual! Mekayla and I love when it rains because everybody goes undercover and we have the park to ourselves! It's not a beautiful Oregon day without a little rain!

Hi All!!

We are getting excited too!!

I am packing and getting nervous about the number of bags we will have!! It is going to be alot!!

We dont even have Pirate costumes! pirate:

Im hoping the weather holds off too.

We leave Thur. night and will stay at OKW before the cruise.

Does anyone have the link for David and Ivan tour?

I'm going nuts! is it time yet?

Oh and just for fun, our Clothes washer died this weekend... fun eh?!

How sad I just read an article that Ann Nicole Smith gave birth to a healthy daughter in the Bahamas on Thurs, and on Sunday while her 20 yr old son was visiting her, he died...What a horrible thing. How hard it will be to take pleasure in the joy of a new child, when your first born dies just days after the birth. That is so sad.:guilty:
