Well its getting to that time for me. I have soaked up info from these boards and saved links to other peoples lists. I also have my own previous vacation lists.

Its time for me to create a new sheet in Excel. The Packing List. Till now I have had things floating around in my mind. The list will contain everything down to each exact piece of clothing I will bring. Creating the list will take longer than the actual packing!

I will eat sleep and breath this list for the next couple of weeks!
I dont know how folks like you do it! I wait until the very last minute possible to pack because I dread it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mcuh! UGH. ALthough admitedly it is a little easier to pack for just DH and myself as opposed to the whole family! I cant believe you have a spreadsheet for packing! :rotfl: There were a few of your type on my MAY cruise too! HAHA I remember one of my buddies o nthat cruise, justmestace, told a story about the 1st time she went to WDW and had laminated cards and everything! :lmao:

My only packing list today is for Tallahassee. Spent over $100 this morning at the grocery store for cleaning stuff and toilettries for the younger one. We are moving him down tomorrow. Now I have to go pack his room. Since he is the one that has his wisdom teeth out he is really milking this lying on the couch and mom making milk shakes. The older one goes Friday so will will shop for him on night this week. I can only think one at a time.

Well have a great day.
Joanne,
How hard is it, honestly? Or is it more of a sense of relief that you got them through childhood safe and sound? :goodvibes

Joanne is it hard to let go of the kids? To see them go off on their own?

With 3 Universitys and several colleges in our city, I have assumed that my kids will be at home post high school. Actually I was hoping till they get married

Hey! Great minds think alike!

DD wants me to ask those of you who are in the know if it would be possible for me to order one an extra desert at Palo to bring back to the room to her. She is so bummed that she doesn't get to go. I still haven't told her that I may be getting brunch also. She still has recouperated from finding out that she can't go to the salon for hair and nails. I tried to make up for that by schedule her for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at DTD during our Christmas trip, but she said that she thinks she is too big for that. I'm going to hold off on canceling the appointment just in case she changes her mind.

I thought the salon on board had a special time for the tweens/teens? I thought I have read that in the past?
and 2nd, Taylor went to BBB in May she is soon to be 10, which I believe is older than your DD and she really loved it.

Now to answer your question, I am sure if you ask your server for one to go, they would not mind. Any time we have gone to PALO, I always want my souffle but they always bring out a 2nd dessert! I usually take it back to the room! But dont forgot there will be a dessert buffet one night so tell her nto to fret :wizard:

I have too...really for my own sanity I must. Keep a list on paper (spreadsheet) saves me the effort of keeping it all organized in my mind.

Also I would feel edgy that Ive forgotten something...and if i do forget something im not easily adaptable... i must have my stuff...

The list will be open at all times on my computer and as i pack items gets hightlighted on my list and then i can completely forget about them. Also if anything new comes to mind it gets added to the list right away so I dont have to try and remember it.

And as im typing all this im realizing how cuckoo you all must think I am

I know therapy....

Okay! Where is everyone? I am trying my best to add up posts, but I am having to talk to myself. Is there anyone out there?

Oh I am here..just trying to keep from strangling my DD! GRRRR She has only been home from Colorado about 3 weeksn and I would say she has been trouble at least every other day since then!!

Well, I guess I was too late. I have a new goal for all of us. We have to reach at least 5000 posts before the cruise.

I wish I could go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!
You can...
In theory I thought it was a cute idea...
After havign been there....well I think it is a bit built up.....basically I paid $40 for them to put her hair in a bun, throw some pretend makeup on her face and clip some hair extension things to her head! LOL But she enjoyed which was good but the way she is ticking me off today I am ready to send her back to Colorado!

I just subscribed to Veranda Man's live thread for the cruise setting sail today. I just love reading those. Does anyone plan to do one of these for our cruise. I thought about it, but would hate spend so much time at the computer on our first cruise.

No I will not be be doing a live thread. And I have a bunch of friends from another board on board today with Andy (Verandah Man)

When I took this gorl of mine the lady said ressies were recommended but that they do take walk ins. She said there slow time was usually around lunch because most people came early morning or early evening.

Will they have the the chocolate souffle at the buffet? That's what she really wants to try because everyone keeps posting about how good it is. As for the salon's tweens/teens day, I've already tried that. I can't remember what the cut off age was, but my DD is still too young for that also. I asked her about the hair braiding and she said absolutely not.

My DD will be 9 when we go to WDW in Dec, and I'm sure that she will end up wanting to do BBB. All the pictures that have been posted have been of very little girls or older women. I don't think she will do a princess costum, but she'll end up wanting the makeover.

WldWcnWmn...I already KNOW Favorite Disney Princess Amanda and Seashells will need to sign releases! LOL :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: "I hearby authorize Thea to report on my activity onboard the Disney Magic. No protest will be made based on level of intoxication or overwhelming joy when characters appear. I will not protest when actual amounts of dessert consumed is shared and I promise not to hold trip thread OP responsible for any inaccurate information reported..." Something like that! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:[/QUOTE said:
Uhm excuse me but whatever happened to "What happens on the Magic stays on the Magic??""" :lmao:
