Sirea, so sorry to here. I wish you best in your job hunting. My co too laid off most of the accounitng dept last summer and moved all our jobs to Nashville. We all found other jobs. So good luck and don't get down, good things usually come from the bad. And I will be mor ethan happy to have a few drinks for you.

"Concierge guests" could reserve 105 days before embarkation. Castaway Club members could reserve at 90 days out. Everyone else (including my parents) has to wait until 75 days out. Granted, that's only July 3rd (I believe), which is in a few days.

I'm not sure what a "concierge guest" is, but I assume that means that if you reserved a category room like a 1-3, they probably let you book early. We're in a cat 4 room, and we had to wait until 90 days out. If you call them, they may let you slide. I don't really know.

I'm sorry this happened to your family. When I got laid off a couple of years ago, it turned out to be such a blessing. Whatever your plans, I believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe this was just the catalyst that you needed for a change in your life.

Hey man, where ya' been? I know that four letter word...wo*k! I left you a message, thanks for asking Rocky if we can go to PF, I don't think we're gonna' make it after all. I am still finishing up the house, and I had the truck rental scheduled for Friday to pack and take away all our Goodwill stuff! Mekayla and I don't have a tent - we only have that monster two bedroom one and I can't set that up myself. there's not a lot for us to do during the day, either. O.K. all that being said...we might just pop up. I dunno'. So, I take down all my funky fair pictures and then you post that's not right.

yes seashells I do accounting for a rental management co. I used to be with a publicly held company so quarter end was a lot worse. i am now with a smaller privately held company so month end is not as bad. I used to work 10-12 hours a day and week ends.I was with that co 8 years. After they laid us all off I won't do that any more. I work 8 hours a day five days a week. My desk is pretty swamped too, we are in our busy season right now. But i can't complain about tourists, they are the reason I get paid every other friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More charges have posted to my credit card today. I guess what they were able to get in before I called the CC company. They are up to $124.31 on one card, they went to walmart,kmart and GNC and $21.39 at Kmart again on my other card. Wow..same Kmart store too. I dont know why it still made my stomach sink today when I saw more charges has been posted that day. I have never been thru this before. Both cards are with citibank..what happens? Does anyone here know?

I think as long as you reported the card stolen citibank should wave the charges...I surprised though...if some steals uses a stolen credit card, wouldnt make more sense to rack up the charges(not that ive done that )...big items quickly in one day...not $124 at Kmart!!!! Not a very bright thief well it is a good thing for you!

Once I figure out how to scan and post I will share with you all the girlfriends my son has made during our vacation....so far 2 cuban girls, 1 from near Toronto, and one from england...

Ilonka - so sorry about being laid off and having to cancel your cruise. We will certainly miss you and will have a toast in your honor once onboard!

Amanda - I know the feeling of seeing the charges on your stolen credit card. I once had over $600 charged on one of mine and I felt so violated. Add in the frustration of dealing with paperwork etc. to clear the charges and I was angry too! I hope that this all gets cleared up and taken care of soon and again I am sorry you had to go through this whole experience!

Julie - we are currently scheduled for early seating but I am seriously considering changing to late. Still debating at this point as I just can't seem to decide which one will be better for us.

Things here are crazy - ds came down with a terrible fever for 4 days (including the day of my father's memorial service) and now I have a urinary tract infection. Ughh - just one thing after another it seems. Hopefully things will return to "normal" soon so I can get something done!

When my purse was stolen in the spring, the CC companies took all the charges off my cards and the bank gave me all the monies back from where they used my debit cards as credit cards. They required me to file a complaint with the police because of the theft. Since you're not sure if you lost it or if it was lifted from your pocket, I'm not sure. Call the companies.

Oh no!!!!! I am going cry. Our group is so small and quiet and now we are going to lose one of our most active Disers. Tell me you think it's April Fools Day.

Seriously, I am so sorry that you lost your job. Hopefully, you will get another one very soon. You'll be missed here and on the ship. I was so looking forward to spending the day with you and your family on the beach in Costa Maya. Getting that $20.00 massage just won't be as much fun knowing that you are missing out.

Okay, you must not realize who you are dealing with. I know absolutely nothing about this. Where do I go to add this and how do I do it?

I was always afraid to add a countdown clock, or pictures, because I was sure I would explode the entire message board by doing something wrong. I have trouble getting the quotes to work right sometimes.

I am going to go to photobucket and put up pictures from China, or can I just link from any other website?

Hi Gail,

I had the same problem till my DW sorted me out. When you create your countdown ticker on the tickerfactory site, you end up with 3 different blocks of text you can copy and paste. The one to use is the top block, titled bbCode. Just copy that block and paste it into your sig and give that a whirl!
