09/15/07 Early Check in September 15, 2007 Eastern

:thumbsup2 My darling husband (he's not going on DCL) called me at work and said my docs have arrived. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Ours came by UPS (our son works for UPS). Husband is excited about the trip too.......he'll be home alone for 13 days.:rotfl2: We won't tell him what we'll (DS and I) be doing.

We haven't started our pirate clothes yet.....and still need to print our door signs. Time is flyin' by and I still have a ton to do. Hair, pedicure, shopping oh my....I'll need some of Mickey's Magic to get through the next few days.:wizard:

:surfweb: back to work and I just keep thinking about cruise.

:lmao: LoriS, looking at the pic......WOW Lori and her husband look fantastic....check out his makeup. Cool pic! Then I read. All the pirate outfits sound great. pirate: I'm glad others will be dressed up too. Can't wait.

Congrats TaraBoss flying is the way to go.

Have a great week!!!

Here too.
I still haven't started packing. I do have most of the items piled up on the guest room bed.
I do have the pirate outfits ready for DDs. However, I do not have any door signs printed yet. I started to print them this past weekend, but the ink was low. Hopefully I can get to it this weekend. It is youngest DD's birthday weekend so we have a party planned. I still need to shop for a few items.
I have my hair appointment Thursday.
So much to do..........................

No docs yet for us!!!! We seem to get our mail slow here. We are always a few days behind everyone else. We live in the St. Louis metro area. It is not like we live out in the middle of nowhere. We will probably get them Friday or Saturday if our mail is like it always is.:sad2:

We are planning on booking another cruise for next year while we are on the ship. Here's my question...

At one time we were looking and there were European cruises offered. What happened to them? We don't want to take yet another Carribbean. So, if we book another Carribbean and they should offer European again in the future, can we change the cruise? Would our onboard credits transfer also? In addition, once off the ship can we transfer our reservation to a travel agent?

Do you mean the Med cruises? Because those were this summer, and they are over now (thank goodness, because the Magic belongs to us in a couple of weeks!). Next summer it's going to be back in California. I don't think bookings are open for the summer of 2009 yet. There is a rumor I read on the Disboards about possibly Northern Europe sometime.

I believe there's no problem with changing your booking dates, in fact, lots of people book a "dummy" date while onboard to get the discount and shipboard credits locked in, and then change it later. You can also transfer to a TA later, and keep Disney's shipboard credits plus whatever your TA will offer. That's what we did :thumbsup2 .

We've already booked next year's cruise, otherwise we would probably be booking onboard too.

Update on my tooth pain: My tooth is feeling a little better, I haven't been chewing on it, so it is doing OK, but when it does hurt, my ear hurts as well. This sucks, so I go back to the dentist, they want me to see a specialist this week, and get a root canal:scared1: or my tooth extracted, which I would prefer, well I'm leaving Sunday for WDW, I can't get an appt before then, no openings anywhere. They gave me a stronger dose of antibiotics, hopefully the swelling will go down in my gums, there is also a little swelling in my jaw area, which is very tender. I have issues!!:sad2:

Can they give you some "pretty good" painkillers? Hopefully that will help take alot of the edge off. Also an anti-inflammatory might help to with the swelling like ibprofen, etc.

I put this out on the general forum but wanted to make sure you guys got this

:

For those that are getting "no reservations available" and its within your booking period I highly advise to call them. We are on the Sept 15th cruise and were originally booked for the parasailing - however, as we all know they cancelled it.

Well I went to check today after reading this message and it said "no reservations available". I called in to the ressies # and explained to them the situations - basically that I had heard that is was now available again but I couldn't book it online. At first the lady thought they were still cancelled but after she dug some more (and I guess talked to someone else) she said that her supervisor would work on it for me and get back.

When I got back home I got a call saying that my husband is booked for the parasailing on September 21st at 1030. I went to my online check in section and sure enough its showing that he is booked.

So my advice - CALL and "insist" that they can book it. The first lady was very nice and she did investigate further after I told her that I heard folks on this board were able to rebook, etc.

For those in St. Louis area - got my docs today via UPS.:cool1:

Also, sorry if I missed this, but for those of you doing the fish extenders - am I to late to sign up? I know that Lisa has a website of the list and I plan on sending her our name, etc. but didn't want to cause a huge issue for everyone if I am to late.

That's what we'll do then... book a "dummy" date. I really wish Disney offered Hawaiian and Alaskan cruises. We'd be all over that!

Yeah, they gave me tylenol w/codeine (which takes the pain away, and doesn't make me loopy or anything), but it hasn't been hurting enough to take it, I have just been taking advil, or tylenol whenever it hurts, which I haven't even taken any since Sunday. My jaw is definately swolen a little, but my DH said he couldn't see it. LOL I guess I'll be standing sideways in all my pics. The good news from all my tooth issues, I lost 10 lbs! Much needed. :goodvibes

:headache: sorry to hear about your tooth Nikki.......hope you feel better soon.

Anjelica.....rock on with the fish extenders, the more the merrier:cool1: I'm excited to see how they turned out. Ours is small, but cute.

I think I'm going to book a 'dummy' cruise for next year too! I'd like to get husband and both sons to go on a 4day. I was told to hold reservation with 1 and then add others later.

OK I have an appt for a root canal Tuesday, after the cruise!!:woohoo: :woohoo: I never thought I would be so happy to get a root canal. They said the antibiotics should be good for any swelling and pain I have, hopefully!! They said they would not recommend getting that procedure done before I leave for 2 weeks, so I hope I'll be OK. I need some pixie dust and Mickey magic(I'm glad I'm on the Disney Magic, and not the Wonder, HAHAHA-pun intended!! :lmao: ) I crack myself up.

NikkiSteveJ-

Here's some pixie dust for you: pixiedust: ~seriously... any reason to put on my tutu, tights & dance around~

Anyone else need dusted while I'm in my pixie get-up? It's getting a little snug these days, so pirouette's are out. I can, however, still skip & frolic.
