After my DBF called DCL three times this morning, they fixed our info in the system. It did show that we were on a CC cruise but for some reason, their database was thinking we weren't. So, as of 2:15, we could only book Palo dinner, Sunday at 8:30pm. All brunches and high teas were gone for the whole week. I'll have to plan on hitting up Rockin' Bar D to see if anyone cancels.

We were able to book the Under 2 Flags tour and St. Jon Island tour.

Dont worry about not getting Palo's. So many people cancel, that you can check back on a regular basis then book when you want. Last resort, book on ship. We have made ressies 2 hours before dinner!

Thanks for telling me this.
DH and the other friends said that they only cared to do Palo dinner. They said that Palo once was enough. I keep trying to explain to them that the brunch will be totally different food. I am planning to show them pictures. If I can convince them to do brunch, it is nice to know that there is still a chance that we can book it when we check in. I know that it may be booked, but it is good to know that it is not necessarily impossible.

Jennifer - I would call DCL tomarrow and explain to them what happened and tell them that you were trying to log on from 11pm - 3 am just to get your Palo reservations and couldn't because of the system error. They should be able to make the reservations for you. I have read several reports about this happening to some people and DCL can 'override' the system to get you reservations. FYI...I figured out that I could log-on at 12:45 EST and there were NO High Tea reservations available. I can't believe they all went that fast...

You can most certainly get reservations for Palo on the ship. On our first cruise, it was a last minuite decision so we only booked about 60 days in advance. There was NOTHING available for Palo online or for signing our kids up in Flounders Nursery. We were able to make reservations for both with no problem once we got on the ship. We were also able to switch from the late to early dining. We were there right when the lines opened to make our reservations on board.

For those of you that did not get something you wanted. I would keep checking back for cancellations. I have also read that DCL opens more reservations at the 75 day mark for the first time cruisers to book so check back then too....

I'm glad to hear that many folks got their ressies. For those that didn't, don't fret and know you will most likely get what you want once on board. I don't even think our cruise is close to selling out so they should have plenty of stuff available.

Hey everyone! Well, our group may be growing! My aunt has been going round and round about wanting to go but not sure about finances (don't I know it! LOL!). But as of today she says she and her son (18yrs old and just graduated HS) are booking! She is waiting to hear back from our TA at Dreams Unlimited now! So cross your fingers! I really want them to go...not only because it gives me more family at my wedding ceremony, BUT they have never done anything like this and she is excited about a mom/son trip and all of us being together!!! So I will keep you posted! If and when she books, I will have to get her on the DIS!
