OMG - Donna....how awesome of your room steward for setting up your room like that...how romantic!!!! I really want Sept to be here NOW!!!! :cool1:

I liked our Wonder cruise but with 2 kids under two, it was too short and I was so preoccupied taking care of the kids that I really didn't relax and enjoy it. I can't wait for this trip.... I love the pics of Serenity Bay and can't wait to experience that. This cruise can't come fast enough...

Donna, thanks so much for sharing those pictures with us!!!!!! They are wonderful and get me even more excited!!!!!!! I cannot wait for September!!!!!!! :yay:
Our family only went to the family beach on CC during our last cruise. It was fun, but crowded. My youngest DD has asked to go to the children's area this trip. I am really excited because the older DD has said that she will go too SO DH AND I WILL HAVE SOME TIME ON THE ADULT BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo: I can't wait!
BTW, I talked to DH about renting a DVC villa. As of now, he is not going for it. He is pretty decided on the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach so we can stay that night for free. I would much rather stay in WDW at a villa, but I agree that a free night is better. We can save that money and put it towards pictures onboard!

Hey everyone...haven't posted in awhile. We went to VA last weekend for Pat and Megan's wedding...so cool! Now I am swamped getting things ready for my cousins wedding tomorrow. I did her flowers and I am doing her dessert table and her wedding cake...yeah, I take on too much!
But we are so in cruise planning mode. Already picked out which days we want Palo dinner and brunch...to me those are cannot miss things! I mean, I LOVE PALO!!!!
We haven't decided on excursions yet, so gotta get on the ball. And I have to finalize my vow renewal/wedding ceremony stuff soon...flowers, music, cake....I am so excited. And flights, we are watching them daily, so we will see. We did book Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas (DVC) for Th and Fri before...and we are staying at Saratoga Springs for Sat-Tues after! I am so excited:cool1: :dance3: :cheer2:
(can't you tell? LOL!)

Donna- LOVE the pics! Thanks for posting
Lisa- thanks for posting my mom's pic to the roster. I will try to get you one of Steve's parents too!

WOW, you cabin steward did all that? I would be happy with just a little towel animal.

We still have not booked air. We need a Wednesday night flight out. We have been fare watching and they just canceled most night flights out. I am now watching Southwest. I signed up for dings so hopefully we will do better than $248.00 round trip.

On a side note, anyone ever book air through travelocity? I booked for my first time yesterday. I had been watching fares on there for Spirit Air and watching on Spiritair.com. I found a great and I mean great rate come up. It was $154.00 and then when I hit select it said it was my lucky day and I got it for $152.10. I booked and paid for it and now they are saying that the airline will not ticket me. They are working with the airline to get me the $152.10 but right now the best I have is $210. They are still showing $152.10 every couple of minute and the other couple of minutes it is showing as there has been a price increase and it is $364.60. I have been doing screen saves of the pages every half hour. Spirit Air currently has it for $296.10. I will in the end take what ever offer they give but then turn them into the better business bureau and the Illinois and Texas Attorney General. Not only are they not standing by the price they sold me the ticket for this is unscrupulous and unethical business practices.

That is true, if you can stay for Free the money will be better spent onboard!!!

Hi Kamy! We have missed you around here. No problem about posting your Mom's pic...speaking of which, where is Vera? She posted a few times then disappeared ;) Tell her we said HI. So did you take any pics from Megan's & Pat's wedding. I love wedding pics. Were they planning a honeymoon or will the cruise count for that? If you speak to them, tell them Congratulations!!!!

Heather - Good luck getting the price you were quoted. We usually book directly with Southwest so I have never run into those kinds of problems.

kamgen, How did you decide which night to book your Palo ressies? I understand the first night in AP is not to be missed. I am trying to figure out what would work out the best. :confused3

I am trying to figure out the same thing.
We didn't eat at Palo for our first cruise so I don't want to miss it this trip.
I just don't know which night to book it.
I was thinking about the first or second sea day. I don't want to miss our first night in the dining room. I want to meet our servers. Plus, I want to be able to tell them ahead of time which night we will dine in Palo.
I am really confused!

I know we will do Palo on either the formal night or the semi-formal night. That way we only have to dress up for dinner 2 nights instead of three. Logical for us but maybe not for anyone else.:confused3 That is the way we did it the last time and it worked great for us.

That does make sense. What night is that?

Donna - That was our thinking too.... Great minds must think alike ;) I think we had planned on trying to get Ressies for Semi-formal night. This was assuming that we would get LAP rotation since we are adults w/o children. That rotation would put us in Animators on Formal night so I would want to eat in the dining room that night....

Well I have started working on my digital scrapbook album from our last cruise in Sept 2005 on the wonder. Since we are sharing cruise pics, I thought I would post them here too!!!!

The days for semi and formal are:
Sunday is formal and Thursday is semi formal and both are days at sea.

Thanks! I was thinking about trying to book for Sunday since that is our first full sea day. That is formal night so that will work. :thumbsup2
Thanks so much!

Lisa, the pictures are wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing them.
I can't wait for September!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

Lisa-the pictures turned our great!

We just went yesterday to the Disney store. They have a ton of new tropical attire for the whole family. We picked up a couple of shirts for Pirate night. DH said if we had kids then he might have done the pirate stuff. But....since we don't we will be Caribbean casual. His shirt is shades of blue with a print on it and mine is a cream t-shirt type with the same print on it. Really cute, the prints on them match but the shirts are not identical. Check out the Disney store if you have one in your area.:thumbsup2

I think I am going to try to book Palo on semi-formal night as well for that reason. There might be quite a few of us there! :goodvibes

Lisa--great scrapbooking pages! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I am going to try to book our Palo night semi-formal night as well. I was also thinking about doing the brunch Monday

Ok.... just found us way down on page 2!

That will not do for this chatty group!

Any good/ weird news from anyone???

Good news... our DGS turned 11 yesterday, had his party tonight.
Also received some DCL mail the past few days. So far, we have the packets for the cruises of the 8th and the 15th. I hope by Friday we'll should have the packet for the 22nd. :thumbsup2
maybe I can get a bit more organized with more things to take care of! ???:rotfl2:
