We won't dress up like pirates, but maybe dress in white red and black, the "typical" pirate colors. LOL!

Thanks for all of the feedback about pirate night. I feel much better now. It seems like I will be ok if we don't dress up or if we just do a "little" gear, like tshirts. Maybe, since the next POC movie is coming out soon, there will be more pirate clothing at the Disney Store. I can check there for something.

It's true...you will see some people dressed to the hilt, some with pirate T-shirts, and most with regular clothes or tropical clothes and the bandanas they give you at dinner. We've done 3 pirate nights now; on the first 2, DH went in full "Jack Sparrow" gear, and the last one, he wore a pirate tshirt and the bandana.

I'm planning to skip it this year. I just didn't think it was all that. Plus, DD says she is "over it" too!

Chuck and I have pirate costumes but Kendyll does not. I think we will dress up. Halloween costumes will be out by then so maybe I will get Kendyll one for the cruise. I am not sure about my sister and her husband. We might wear them for the MNSSHP too so I don't have to bring a lot of costumes.

Regarding pirate night - I don't know if we will be dressing up as pirates or not - DD is a little afraid of them right now and doesn't want to, but hoping that will change by then. If it doesn't we will probably be wearing something with a tropical/Caribbean theme.

I have natural long red hair so I'll be one redheaded pirate! My friends laugh when in the PotC ride they say "how much for the redhead?!" I think they want to find out how much they can get for me!

Anyone else really excited about this cruise? Since I purchased airfare yesterday, I've been way to giddy!

We will probably wear something special for Pirate night but nothing too elaborate. I will have to see what I can find and we feel like packing.

On a side note, I totally re-did the Cruise Roster (click on the link in my siggie to check it out). I was not happy with the first one did and it was difficult to make changes. I like this one much better. I took an on-line web design course which helped me with this page. I was thinking we could use this site to keep track of activities too. I will have to work on that. I did include a column for pictures so if you have a pic you would like me to post on the site, you can post it here, PM it to me or e-mail me at: LisaC0503-disney@yahoo.com. (Kammy - I hope you don't mind that I 'borrowed' your family pic from your siggie and posted it. It is such a great pic of all of you)

Thanks!!! After I created the website, I moved some files around in my computer to try to keep organized and then I guess the pics lost their 'links'. I didn't think that would happen. I will have to work on fixing that this afternoon but right now I am off to a playdate at the park with my kids. I will add Dan's name to the list then too...

I am in cruise planning mode now!!!! I went back thru the thread and some of you had posted pics on this thread already. I hope you don't mind I added the pics to the website. If I have added a pic to the website and you don't want it posted there, please let me know and I will remove it. If I added a pic and you would like it replaced with a different pic, get me the new pic and I will replace it.

I am going to try to work on an activity page for us. (Had we decided on Mickey's Magical Gang for a name?) So far I think the things we are planning on are:

Fish Extenders - (does anyone know how this works? Should we be compiling a list of who will have them and what room they are in so if we are bringing gifts, we know how many and can find them???)

I know we had tons of other ideas but have we decided on doing them??? (you can go back to page 20 of this thread for a comprehensive list) Some of the idea's I personally liked that we would need someone to organize if we decided to do it are:

a Pre-Cruise Meet for those in WDW before sailing
a Sailaway Party/Cruise Meet (would be a good time to give out the braclets and Kid gift bags)
PJ Breakfast

I was also thinking when we plan our shore excursions, we could keep a list of who is participating on what excursions because I thought it would be fun to know if there were other Diser's touring with us... I could add it to the website.

OK...is there anything else? Am I missing anything?

Thanks Kammy!!! Well I have been working on the website more (now that I know how to do things...I admit, I am very proud of my first real website attempt) You can see it here at: www.lisalovesdisney.com

Anyway, I changed the main page to our activity page and there is a link to the Cruise Roster page. I also set up a page to keep a list of all Disers who are doing Fish Extenders so we can all see who wants to participate. Please PM me or post here so I can add you to the list of those participating. I thought it would be a good idea so we can figure out how many 'gifts' we would need to bring for everyone. I also set up a link to a separate page where we can see who is going on excursions. I know we can't sign up for excursions yet but I was thinking we could post what excursions we were thinking of going on for now and then change it to confirmed excursions once we have our bookings.... I know I would like to know if I am going on a tour with another Diser...

Anyway, that is all I have for now. Feel free to post here, PM me or e-mail me with suggestions. If you want me to add/change anything to our website please let me know. I would really like the website to be for everyone cruising so if there is some info that you think would be helpful to have all in one place, let me know and I will add it. Thanks!!!

Lisa- It looks great!!! Thanks for compiling all of this. I am so excited about cruising!!!! I thought it would be cool to list also who is a Castaway Club member and a Disney Vacation Club member, that way we know who is at what party and maybe meet up there too. Just ideas! And what about a Cove Cafe Coffee meet?? Anyone interested in that?? I love that place and I hear they have chocolate eclairs! LOL!
