Boy is it quiet today on here.

O.k. know I know there are certain things that we have to book for us like Palo and spas. What about for the kids? I know that Kendyll will want to have tea with Wendy. Does that have to booked in advance? Also, are there other really neat things like that for a 5 year old?

It was my understanding that the tea with Wendy can only be reserved once onboard - someone please correct me if this is wrong. There is a thread regarding it that they are sometimes having Tea with Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) instead of Tea with Wendy.

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Too busy at home. Anywho, I know we have mentioned the new "Mickey's Island Jam" that has replaced the character breakfast on the Magic. I recently read a trip report with a good description of it if anyone is interested.

It may not be a typical character breakfast but I know my dd will love it. Singing and dancing with character might be better to her than a character breakfast.

In terms of Sailaway Party, we usually stand up top and look down. Love the view of the water and the over-view of the party. But I am sure my two year old is gonna wanna dance, so we might have to head downstairs. What is everyone else planning??? (yeah, I think WAY ahead.... )

I've been wondering about this too Kam. Last time we were up top, which worked out well and we weren't crammed in a crowd. But with Joey going along, I'm sure he's going to want to be down dancing with the characters. Hmmm.

We booked our airfare yesterday! Hooray! I think we got some decent prices. I actually saved about $20 booking directly through Air Tran instead of Travelocity, and I got to pick the seats. I actually had to pay $5 per seat to reserve them instead of doing it at the airport, but with DS coming along I needed to make sure we had 3 seats in a row. Oh well. Let's hope AirTran doesn't decide to change flights on us like they did last year. I really do not want to do a connecting flight with DS.

Megan- Yeah, I been thinking about Sailaway too...I think we can start up top and then those who want to go down and take the kids can...that way some of the group can be up top taking pics and video and stuff of the kids....what do you think????
We are still eyeing tickets.....I dont know if I am being too frugal, costs arent bad right now, just going to wait a few more weeks and see what happens.....need to cut costs wherever possible since everything else costs so darn much! LOL!!!!!!!

Kam, you probably have a good idea about sailaway. I'm tempted to say we make the dads take them down while we slingback some daquiris. Our flights weren't too bad. I think it was about $500 for all three of us. That sounds like a lot, but flights out of DC to anywhere are expensive....like everything else around here.

That is still less than what we paid out of Chicago. Originally it was $204.80 each but with a sale and now a ding we are down to $178.80 each. I am still like more dings. I want $158.80 at least.

We will be paying off our cruise today I think. I have to pay it off by Sunday so we can make Palo ressies.

I know what you mean Heather. Been getting Dings, but they have to be better or DH is going to push to drive. Guess we'll wait and see, I 've been taking my laptop to work to check for Dings every day-pretty pathetic-but I really DON'T want to drive!

I think we will get better dings. I am hoping for at least $59. each way. Currently we have $79. each way. At least for our days the schedule is wide open. They aren't selling so they are going to have to bring the price down. I just hope they don't cancel our flights because they are not selling.

We got $69 per person out and $86 pp back (I acted too slowly)on USA3000 out of STL, flying into Tampa/St. Pete. Renting a car which gives us greater flexibility anyway and staying on site for two nights before we leave.

I got the panty tag on a thread about panties. It was pretty funny. I told someone that had a bra tag that they needed a panty tag to go with it. I said a panty tag wouldn't go with a Martini tag and the next thing I know its there. Since it is purple I know it was from the Snarky Purple Tag Fairy. Purple always was my favorite color!!!

Thanks for this link! I guess I will go. I am still disappointed, but at least we will try it.
We booked our hotel room for September 14 yesterday. We will be staying at the Hilton Cocoa Beach. We booked their cruise package so we can get the shuttle to port.
One day closer to cruising..............

We have our airfare...Down there we are using Airtran...$59 each! We leave Chicago-midway at 3:10pm on the 14th. And coming home we are using SW...$74 each(a little more than I wanted to pay, but we wanted a direct flight late) we leave at 8:30 or so!

We are staying at one of the hotels close to the port, but not sure which one! We are renting a car, and then returning it at the port that morning. We have reservations at BWV for the night after the cruise. I need a Disney fix bad....We leave in a little less than 2 weeks, and I'm ready to go today!
