Hi everyone! Looks like my DBF Tim(Ninh) has beat me to posting(work...Why do I have to do go there?) :rotfl2: But he left out a few details...We are cruising with 3 DD's ages 11(Krystina), 8(Haylee) and 3(Lauren) and his dad. We fell in love with cruising on the member cruise, and wanted to take a cruise in Feb, but just couldnt fit it in with our 9 days in WDW. I am glad that we have found some other Dis people cruising with us...the Dissers we met on the member cruise were incredible...not only with helping me decide what to pack, and to plan, but just great friends indeed. I will always trresure the friendships made on board. I am hoping to make many new friends on board this cruise :) ! I cant wait till we have 7 nights aboard! Talk to all of you real soon! :Pinkbounc
This was supposed to be from my user name... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :lmao: I guess I wasnt paying attention!

Hi

My mom and I and possibly my Pop-pop are coming on this cruise. We are in room # 5632 (I think) We are going to WDW for a couple of days before the cruise. This is our 4th DCL cruise.

Hello all. My DW, DDs (twins aged 12--13 when we cruise), and I will be joining you on this cruise. We were originally scheduled to be on the January 6, 2007 Eastern Caribbean cruise, but had to postpone our plans for various reasons, including my daughters skating/competition schedule.

Ah... The crew grows! :welcome: Glad to have you sailing with us! :sail: CaptainJack and twins. :goodvibes

Or should I say we'll be sailing with you. you bein' the captain and all! pirate:

Welcome, Welcome, and Welcome again to all the newcomers. It is so good to see our numbers growing. Here's to hoping to read many posts for each and every one over the next few months.

We are planning a get together to have a group :dance3: celebration. The current plan is to get together at :stir: lunch on our last day at sea. If you would like to join us, we would love to have you at our little  party. Just let me know over the next little while. If you have a special day someone in your party is celebrating party: also let me know that so I can add it to my list. We will confirm plans as the time draws near.

I am really excited about sailing with everyone. Lois

We will be there (at least my DW and me). My DDs will be there if we can pry them away from their the Lab and Ocean Quest. They will have just had their 13th bday. So, we are celebrating that on the ship.

We will be there also, and the same goes for the kids, if we can pry them away from the lab, then they will join us! I also had a question...For the member cruise I linked dining with other members, and was wondering if anyone was interested in linking with us for the early dining seating? It was a great time, and we got to meet some wonderful people this way. I do still have the contact at DCL and would be willing to set it all up. Just let me know, we still have a long time for it!

That sounds great to me. I know that we have main dining, but that is about all I know right now.

You can include Janet and I in that :thumbsup2 . It would be neat to be sitting with or around kids. We are not traveling with kids this trip and I know I am going to miss :sad2: them.

I will include Captian Jack, Tinkerbell77 and LoriS family in my Celebration list. Great to have you all on board to help us CELEBRATE our special days. Lois

..............I know how hard it is to lose a loved one to Alzheimers as my mom had the early stages before she past. There were times she was there for a moment and then she would be gone again..... Lois
I am so sorry. I am sure your Mother knew you loved her.

It wasn't all bad. I knew for about four years that my mom was going to die. So I had time :hourglass to say the things that I had been putting off. I was ready when she passed. I had made peace with the fact that I was losing my mom.

It was still hard at the end of her life because she would get real confused and not understand the simple things. All the anger she had repressed came to the surface and she didn't understand. The biggest problem we had is that her ability to speak clearly was lost and she would talk to us but she wasn't saying words that we could understand. She knew what she was saying but just couldn't get it across to us.

However, I know that she is at peace (and over time my father is beginning to accept her death). Towards the end of her life all she wanted was to die. She had no quailty of life. I miss her each and every day but she is still in my heart and my memories. I visit with her in my thoughts. Her death has taught me to live each day the very best I can because we do not know what might happen. So I try to exercise, eat right, take care of my physical body and my spiritual mind. AND I VACATION WITH DISNEY.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Lois

That sounds like a plan...I know we had something like 95 people linked for dining on the member cruise...it was fun!

Hey everyone...and welcome to the newbies! :goodvibes
I am sorry to have been gone awhile...we are still trying to get back to normal after my father's passing just a little over a week ago. :guilty:
We try to keep busy around, here and having a 14mth old helps! :rotfl2:
Today we took Ryan for his 1st haircut...I will try to post a pic soon. He is adorable..no longer looks like a baby, but now looks like a "big boy"!
As for my pregnancy, I am having an ultrasound on Tuesday. They think he is a pretty large baby, so they want to check his size. I will let you all know! I am only 34+ weeks, so we will see. I am so miserable right now, back pain, leg cramps, the whole thing! So I am ready to meet my son! LOL!!!

Okay, well that is an update from me. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes. I am trying to get Stephen to post soon too....and my mom...so we will see. This trip is just what we need....just wish it was sooner! :p

I did not read backwards all the way but this looks like a list of folks celebrating something on the cruise. Add us to the list as celebrating our 13th wedding anniversery and 23rd year "together".

We've been runnin' around doin' stuff lately and as such... about to step out again in a few minutes. Maybe tonight I'll get caught up here!

On the Ultrasound...

.... How exciting! Be sure to bring along a blank VHS tape if your OBGYN has the VHS recorder hooked up. Although we don't use VHS tape much anymore - this will give you a rare never to be repeated opportunity for capturing video of your baby inside the tummy on film! Later you can pay to have the VHS transferred to DVD or do it yourself to whatever media we are using in THAT decade/era. We keep our baby ultrasound video tapes and the ultrasound thermal image printouts in a fireproof safe waiting for the day when we will want to do something with the footage! Hmmm, maybe when the kids are getting married we can volunteer this stuff for a reception video!? :confused3 ... OR, maybe we'll someday put together a super scrapbook with a beginning that starts in the womb with these videos and thermal printouts?!
