Hey everyone, time for my biweekly post. Things are so hectic around here, i swear my schedule is making me older. I turn 29 in 2 weeks, so i am only crawling up the hill and not quite to the top of it yet. We went to a friends wedding up in wilmington delaware this weekend, pretty nice wedding, it was in a holiday inn hotel and had a great reception. I had known the bride for about 8 years, i had taken her to prom and before she went off to college we pretty much spent every day together just hanging out. It was good seeing her and her family again. And also kinda made me think of how i am gonna react when i get married to the woman of my dreams in about 6 months, the groom started crying and i started thinking, if megan sheds a tear i will be done! I may even start when i see her in her dress for the first time. Which if anyone asks her, i rarely show extreme emotions, or any emotion for that matter. I admit, after 6 screwdrivers during the reception i was feeling a bit tipsy and was doing my white boy dances as she says. She calls me "tragically white". Other than that not a whole lot going on. This upcoming weekend she plans on going to look at bridesmaids dresses and taking my niece to look at a junior bridesmaid dress, then sunday i have my last golf outing of the year, it is a turkey shootout and we get a free turkey. Although we may give it away since we will be turkeyed out on thanksgiving between my parents house and her dads house. Can't wait to see everyone and have a blast...

I'll add you and if it doesn't work just let me know. Remember we are doing this at Lunch on the last day at sea. Everyone has to eat and it will be in a public place that should help make him more comfortable. Which anniverary will you be celebrating? Lois

I had to think a minute. We will be celebrating our 22nd. I just don't know how that is possible since I am only "29".

Hey everyone...and welcome to the newbies!
I am sorry to have been gone awhile...we are still trying to get back to normal after my father's passing just a little over a week ago.
We try to keep busy around, here and having a 14mth old helps!
Today we took Ryan for his 1st haircut...I will try to post a pic soon. He is adorable..no longer looks like a baby, but now looks like a "big boy"!
As for my pregnancy, I am having an ultrasound on Tuesday. They think he is a pretty large baby, so they want to check his size. I will let you all know! I am only 34+ weeks, so we will see. I am so miserable right now, back pain, leg cramps, the whole thing! So I am ready to meet my son! LOL!!!

Okay, well that is an update from me. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes. I am trying to get Stephen to post soon too....and my mom...so we will see. This trip is just what we need....just wish it was sooner!

Jan- I requested it from the DiS Designs board. There are people there who make the best graphics!

Patrick- you softy....I knew you had that side in ya! Yes, you will cry....just wait. When you see Megan, you will lose it...it's a done deal! Ahhhh, so sweet.

We are just doing our usual stuff..taking it day by day. Preparing for our first holiday season without my grandma (who passed Aug 1) and without my dad (who passed Nov. 1). With the arrival of my second son, hopefully that will be the thing we need to get through.

Sorry it has been so long since last chiming in - Life is flying by. I volunteered to be a room mother for DD's preschool class, and got caught up in all those antics. We've all been under the weather for quite a few weeks now, so am hoping to be perky soon.
Could we be added to the celebration lunch? We would be celebrating two birthdays (DH 9/14, myself 8/31) and our 9th anniversary a bit early (10/17). Can't wait to see everyone in person and enjoy the cruise!

I can't even begin to think about Christmas until I get through Thanksgiving. Who was it that planned two MAJOR holidays soooo close together?

Janet and I will be going out of town to spend Thanksgiving with her father and step-mom then going to visit her mom and step-dad. They live 6 hours apart so it is a interesting process. Then and only then will I think about Christmas.

It's been awhile since I popped in, so I thought I would just stop by and say hello. Not too much going on over here other than life and work. We have two Thanksgiving dinners to go to...his parents and mine (well, half of mine). Then DFi's birthday is on Saturday...he's almost an old fart. Next year (the big 3-0) I will be harassing the hell out of him. Anyway, hope everyone has a good weekend!
