Hi Everyone! I hope you all have a great weekend!

My daughter had a friend spend the night, so I'm off to make some Belgium waffles for everyone. The kids have a sledding party this afternoon and then we all have my niece's first birthday party after that. I have piles of stuff here that I'm trying to get listed on eBay, but its taking forever. Perhaps always running these kids all over that place has something to do with that!

At least we've got one more month of winter under our belts! January always seems to be the gloomiest month - so I'm glad to see it go away.

Plus February is my birthday month. I don't know if that is such a good thing this year though. Those birthdays seem to get less and less exciting as I get older. But as long as it moves us closer to spring I am happy!

I am hoping that the groundhog on Feb. 2nd does not see his shadow. We will have to see.

I look at borthdays this way. If I can still do the things I like that I am not getting older.

It is funny to see my DS (23) to look at getting older different now. WHen he sees kids that are younger then him growing up.

BUt I am ready for spring to.! That being us closser to the SSMC09.

Flo - Good attitude on the birthdays!

I suppose this one is a little more depressing because I was supposed to be in WDW for my birthday. I still haven't cancelled all my ADRs (breakfast at the castle, dinner at Le Cellier, Flying Fish, Narcoosee's....all my favorites). I guess I should do that ASAP.

Anyway, I donated my trip to a family who needed it more than I. I was at WDW four times last year, so I was feeling like it wouldn't be much of a sacrafice for me. I still think I made the right decision, but its sad to know that I won't be there for my birthday.

I'll just have to celebrate on the cruise! I'm getting more and more excited for that cruise every day!

That was a wonderful thing you did for the family. I am sure they greatly appreciate it.

If you need a Disney fix you can take a weekend drive up to Woodsfield and visit the DVC store and the new Contemporary models. It will give you the Disney feeling.

Yes, we will celebrate on the cruise!

Don't they usually have an event in February? I haven't heard anything yet. I remember going to their events in February and August.

When we went to the DIS Unpluged event they said that they would have something in February. I have not gotten any thing or heard of any thing. I keep looking on the DVC site of t he DIS to.
If I see any thing I will post.

Well, I just called Doorway to Dreams to ask if they had anything scheduled for February. She said they had "something in the works", but she couldn't give me details or dates.

Oh well....it was worth a try.

I wish I were that close. It takes me about an hour and a half to get there. But once we figure out the dates I'd love to meet up with you!

I'll have to resist the urge to add-on more points though. I really want to add-on when they start selling Hawaii. (I'm crossing my fingers that maybe during the Member's Cruise they will have some sort of great incentive or "fist shot" offer then!)

But I've added on twice at those Doorway to Dreams events. They always have some sort of incentive that I'm a total sucker for.

We have only added on once at the Doorway to Dreams. I would love to add on. BUt with not working that is impossible. I am hopeing that real soon I will be working so that we can add on, on t he Cruise.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. I have been so busy this past week, I have not had the time to get on the Dis. I was going through withdrawals.

We're finally watching the DIY episode. Very cool to see all that goes on behind the scenes.

My DH & I watched it last night. It was cool to see what all goes on in dry dock and it made me appreciate even more the people who work to make our experience a little more magical.
