Thought I'd give everyone the latest update. Met with the surgeon today and surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday 2/4. Still need to have an EKG and CT scan done before then. I'll be scheduling those tomorrow.

So things are rolling along!

Hi everyone, My DH has not yet seen all of your wonderful wishes for his birthday yet. I work days, and he has been working nights, so we haven't seen much of each other lately. I am sure he will love all of the attention, when he sees them.

We leave for WDW tomorrow am for the LOOONG drive from CT.

We did not make up our mind until yesterday that the trip was still on, as my father-in-law is in the final stages of Altzheimers and now is confined to a nursing home. Its a horible disease I first thought it was just memory issues, it is much more than that.

Bruce Jr, starts the Disney College Program on Monday ! We are very excited about and can't wait to find out where he will be a lifeguard. Its his first time away from home. His twin brother will not have anyone to fight with.

Good morning everyone - happy Friday!

With two tests needing to be done today I've taken the day off. I have a leftover 2008 vacation day so took that. First up is a CT scan at 12:30. That required me to be up at 12:30 AM drinking a "berry smoothie". Not at all like the smoothies served on DCL. At 11:30 I get to drink an iodine cocktail mix and head off for the scan. Then later this afternoon I have an EKG scheduled at my doctor's office. The EKG was supposed to be done with my pre-op appointment but for some reason the tech there didn't do it. Once those are done I just have to wait until Tuesday when I do the surgery prep with a liquid diet and an evening of drinking my favorite drink....NOT!

Plans for the weekend include a crop day tomorrow with my girlfriends. I'm really looking forward to that. Sunday will be doing things around the house and hopefully doing out tax workbook to send to the accountant.
