First off let me say thank you for all the good wishes and prayers. I need them more than ever now as I have heard back from the doctor and it is cancer. Now it is wait to hear from my regular doctor and get the plan in place for staging, surgery, etc.

Mary, my thoughts and prayers are with you. If you ever need to talk or vent, know that we are here for you.

My daughter submitted this photo of my granddaughter Makayla we took in WDW, along with some others of her in dance leotards to a costume catalog looking for models. She was called today and Makayla was selected!!! YEA! It will also be on the internet. Isn't that just too cute. Makayla will be so excited...she just turned 4. This is her updated photo...the one of her in my signature was taken when she was almost 3.

Congratulations to your granddaughter. She is beautiful. And, I like her name. Makayla was one of the names DH & I had chosen if we were going to have a girl.

Thanks I went to Michaels and got the scrap books ties. Had a 40% off so that was good. When I checked out they gave me another one so now I have to go back. Right? I will probably try tomorrow.
I also got some of the scissors. They were 2 for 1.00.

I had a blast in there. I was just walking around looking at every thing I was there for about 2 hours.. I found so many things that I would like to do for the SSMC09. I have time to decide.

I know you can not burn candles on the cruise. But could you put in the FE’s? I saw something I really liked. I did not want to buy because I am not sure if they will be taken away before my suitcase makes it on board.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Well, as I posted yesterday, I spent yesterday afternoon putting together a book of my Yellowstone vacation photos and I submitted it for printing. So hopefully in a week or so, I should have a nice hard cover book of my photos. If it comes out nice, I'll let you know.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I'm trying to relax. Last weekend we had cheer competitions, then it snowed and then I spent 8 hrs last night taking out Ahja's braids. Right now all I want to do is sleep.

Thank you everyone for the continued good wishes and prayers. They are very much appreciated!

Had a fun day with my girlfriends yesterday. We met at one friends house in Wheeling and started the day looking at scrapbooks. All three of us who scrapbook have slightly different styles so it was fun to see what others have done.

After that we headed out to JoAnn Fabrics as our first stop. They were having a big sale and we all came out with at least one bag. I didn't buy much just 2 sets of straps for upcoming books, a replacement blade for my cutter and and a few embellishments. After that was lunch at a local sports bar. We then headed to Michael's where they were having a sale on adhesive so I got a replacement cartridge for my Xyron and some tacky tape. Last up was Archivers but by this time I was all shopped out so I didn't get anything. I did help my friend use their die cutters in the back and we were able to get some cute things for her daughters book she will be doing. It will be one of her gifts for college graduation.

All in all a fun day but a long one. Got home about 5 and pretty much just crashed for the rest of the day. I'm feeling it in my ankle this morning but not too bad.

Next up is getting together next Saturday for an all day crop.

When we went by my cousin yesterday I took my last one with me to show her and I left it there. Danny is oging to go get it this morning so I can put the new page holder in there and put the rest of the things I found in it.

I'm glad you had a good day with your girlfriends. It sounds like a lot of fun! It's nice that you have next weekend to look forward to also. I need to plan some type of girly get together like that.

I've had a very busy weekend so far, but I've gotten a lot of work done and it feels really good. I need to plan something more fun for next weekend.

Well I called MS and added my sister Sandi to the cruise this afternoon. I was a little surprised that they had to cancel my reservation and rebook it to add Sandi. Ok let's be honest, I was a little nervous. But it all worked out.

However, they did have to move us to late dining due to availability. The CM said that she put us on the waiting list for main dining. But in reality, either one if fine.
