Happy Weekend. It's pretty cold here (by our standards ), but compared to you northerners, not so bad, I guess. We had one 15-second snow sprinkle about 2 weeks ago; as far as I'm concerned, that's enough!

Ok just went shopping on Disney.com . They have a huge sale and this weekend you get 25% off your order. Even the sale items. Also, if you spend 89.00 (we all know that is easy) you get free shipping. I go a real cute tree topper (a star with Mickey and Minnie) and something to put in my bay window. I bought a new tree topped because right now I don’t have one. My DH and DS put it away last year and don’t know were it is. I also got them each a Disney dress shirt. Besides a couple other things. I also kept it under 100.00. So I don’t think that is bad.

We are having a bit of snow here...and it's a little colder than usual. I am not sure the temperature in Farenheit, sorry I only deal in Celsius, lol.

My dh, the kids and I are laughing (but not in a mean way ) at the people around here. We moved in the spring from Barrie, Ontario which is north of Toronto, almost in the Muskokas, and in a "snow belt"area so we used to get lots of snow there and often. So my kids love snow and we are used to it. We moved to a small town near Windsor, Ontario (across from Detroit, Michigan) and so far the start of the winter has been very mild here. Today there was a bit of snow falling, with high winds...and everyone was complaining around us. This kind of weather in Barrie was met with big smiles from everyone and wishes for more! What a difference! My kids are hoping the snow stays and most people are wishing spring was here already

Woke up to snow here this morning we got about an inch, looks nice. I would rather be seeing Palm Trees though.

We are driving to WDW next month one of my twins is doing the Disney College Program, The other one applied a few days ago. If he gets in we will be empty nesters.

Have a great time at the Doorway to Dreams! It is cold here too...feels like -2 Farenheit with the windchill! (I looked it up LOL)

Definitely a fun way to spend the morning. I was also able to pick up some Christmas presents while I was there!

It was very cool that we got to meet and I highly encourage anyone who can meet up before the cruise to do so!

I really liked BLT. The DVC reps made a comment before we went in that most people like it more in person than they do just from the photos and I agree with that. I really like a lot of the features. We're not in the market for an add on here but if I can ever get in at 7 months I'd do it.

We got some nice little things as well. I won one of the raffles and got a full size of the H2O shampoo and conditioner that they use in the parks. We all got a 2003 Member Cruise pin and a family and friends discount card to be used at the Disney Store. I made good use of that buying for a little girl from the giving tree at church. When we left the store we got a Doorway to Dreams bag that included the 2008 DVC Christmas ornament. I'm pretty sure this is the same one they'll give out at the Merry Member Mixers. Love it!

I agree with Mary looking at the pictures I did not like at all. Now that I saw in person I like them. I am in love with the shower. I wish I had one like that. They are still working on the studio. In Februayr of 2009 they said they they are haveing a DVC gettogether. That will be nice.

Everything is going great! I just moved from BWV to SSR today and as I am typing this, I can see DTD from my room!

I have definitely been doing many of the Christmas activites. So far I have done:
- Candlelight Processional -> Even better than I imagined
- Lighting of Epcot Christmas tree
- about 1/2 of Christmas around the World
- Osbourne lights
- MK Castle lighting
- Checked out decorations at GF, BWV, and SSR

This has been an amazing trip and I am truly being spoiled.
