The elements in your signature are probably exceeding the limit we are allowed by the DIS. It used to be that some DISers had very long signatures, which used up a lot of page space and memory, so they decided to limit the amount of space that we can use for our icons and stuff. My siggie is probably about as big as they can get (or close).

I'll leave the facebook answer to someone who is familiar w/it.

Flo - sounds like something I would do. BTW I was out your way yesterday having lunch with a friend. She was on the 2006 (and 2005) Member Cruise with us. In 2006 a bunch of us did a circle journal and we just finished it up (yes 2 years later). So I was handing off her to book to her. We had a smaller group in 2005 and managed to hand off the books at the 2006 DIS meet.

I can tell you without a discount it is 139.00 for the night with parking. Plus taxes. I would like to gte it cheeper.

Well I was just sitting down to do my bills and I opened up my checkbook and noticed that I needed a new book of checks. background: I pay most of my bills online so I only write 2-3 checks per month and I got my new checks months ago. Well, I got out a new book and I had totally forgotten that I had a new design.

I can tell you that someone in the group that is going on a 7 day in Oct. 2009 was able to get a group rate at the Radisson of $109+tax so it is possible.

Hey - Our group, the Bash on the Boat, is staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise. Our cruise is in Oct - a little later than the SSMC09. Our group rate is $109 and includes the shuttle and of course, parking. I don't know how many people we have going there (a lot, I didn't make the reservation set-up for the group though, so I don't know how many) but I bet you can do better than the regular $139 rate. Good luck!

How expensive is it to rent a car though? This is the reason we stayed at DVC and did the bus for the last SSMC because it was less expensive, especially since we had the points to use.

I agree. You can’t beat the points for one night. But since we are going to be at WDW in December 2009 I don’t know if I want to use points. I figure I have time to decide. We are still not sure if we are driving or flying. I figure if we fly we get the Magical Express free from the airport to the DVC resort. Or if we say at the Radisson I would take a cab or a shuttle if they have to the hotel. I know they also have a shuttle going to the ship that is included.

Another thing is we would not be staying another night at DVC we would be going home so if we drove I don’t know what we would do with the car of we decided to take the bus.
I would be afraid to leave at the resort for fear of it being towed.
