Oh no. You don't get off that easy. If you post about a recipe like that, you must share how you make it!! Sounds YUMMY!!!

I warn you.......once you start eating....you can't stop. It is sooooo good!!!
Here's the recipe::stir:

Peanut Butter Popcorn:
3qt popped popcorn(1/2cup unpopped), 1 1/2cup peanuts (we use slivered almonds in stead of peanuts), 1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 1 cup peanut butter (any brand, creamy or chunky), 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla
Pop the corn (remove all unpopped kernels) and place in large pot with peanuts or almonds. Hold in a 200 degree oven while you do the following....combine sugar, honey and corn syrup in a heavy pot, stirring often while bringing to a slow boil. Bring mix to 234 degrees....then remove from heat...next add the peanut butter and vanilla, stir well. Combine coating with the popcorn and nuts....working QUICKLY, stir to coat well. Spread out on a baking sheet to cool. Enjoy!!!!!
This recipe takes about 15-20 minutes to make

*****VERY IMPORTANT***** DO NOT make this recipe just before dinner:lmao:

I'll send a pm but in the meantime, do you now if we can request specific servers? I know there is still plenty of time too but thought I'd ask. Annmarie

Annmarie,

I am not sure. On the form there is a Misc Section I can add the servers to. I would think tht is what it is for.

Where in So. MD are you?
We are in Delaware....about 5 miles North of Rehoboth Beach and about 40 minutes from Ocean City, MD
308 days :woohoo: will go by fast...that's for sure!!!!:)

Take care.....Monika:flower3:

I am about 3 1/2 hours from Ocean City. I was in OC two weeks ago for a conference. I have never been Rehoboth Beach. I wanted to go and do some shopping at the outlet while I was in OC but the conference kept me busy.

What part of So. MD are you in? I'm from Lexington Park and live in the Orlando area now.

I live in St. Mary's County - Great Mills. So, I am very familiar with Lexington Park. I have only been here for 6 years. It took me a while to get used to the county & So. MD in general. But, I am happy now. I have always lived in the city prior to coming here. Grew up in South Jersey where I was no more than 15 minutes (by car) from any store I wanted to go to and a major city (Philly). Then, I lived in PG Co for a little bit while I went to school. Marriage brought me to St. Mary's County.

My family has lived in Lexington Park since 1965. My dad was in the Navy and got transfered to Pax River NAS. Went to Great Mills High School, but so much has changed since I graduated in 1982. I haven't lived there since 1991 but do try to get home once every year or two.

So much has changed from when I first started coming down to visit my then BF. I mean the Target, Giant, BJs, and the other stores were not even there. That was all still wooded area. The Lowe's was where BAE Systems is now. And, more stores are coming. By the time you come back, Chancellor's Run Rd. will probably be totally different.

Were you ever at Brunswick Naval Air Station in Maine? That's where we live but unfortunately the base is slated for closure by 2011. It was part of the last rouond of closings in 2005.

In fact, P.S. -- the squadrons from here are going to Jacksonville. Judging from your screen name I guess that's where you are.

:lmao: I never thought of that....I guess you could:rotfl:

Cuz I'm thinking....you have corn and corn syrup---that's the veggie group
Peanut butter--well, the peanuts are protein (meat group) and butter (dairy group)

So it's nearly a nutritional food! I'm having trouble figuring out the grain group using my system. So I'd have to eat a piece of bread with it and I'd be good!

My dad was never station in ME, just CA, FL then MD. I did live in Jacksonville from 1995 until 2000. Now I'm just north of Orlando.

That's one way to look at it. I always try to be creative when it comes to some food. At least one ingredient has to fit into one of the food groups. :rotfl:
