Your welcome.

I just wonder what the CM's who work at CC do when storms like this hit. All the chairs, umbrellas, etc. what do they do with all of that stuff? That would be a very interesting job! Does anyone know?

I remember hearing the last time they left the island and tied every thing down and hope for the best. I can't imagine what a mess they must find when they get back sometimes and have to clean it up. God bless them for doing this and keeping so great.:grouphug:

One thing I don't understand is I know we get off the island because the bus are bad at night. Since they live on the island what the heck do they do?

The passage isn't free, just the opportunity to book early. But I'm sure that's what you meant.

My mistake - I thought you still had to pay something. Since we knew we couldn't add on any more I guess I didn't pay that much attention. Sorry!

Welcome aboard Ralph! I see you've already been directed to the first post so you know all that is happening!

Mark and I just got back from a wonderful weekend in Galena, IL. We are big Irish music fans and go to a celebration each summer in Milwaukee, WI called Irish Fest. Well one of your favorite groups was playing in Galena this weekend at a pub that is attached to this nice boutique hotel called The Irish Cottage. We went up Friday morning and went to their shows on both Friday night and last night. Saturday during the day we went shopping in downtown Galena which is a quaint little town full of antique and other eclectic shops. It was a nice little getaway for both of us and just what we needed. So if I wasn't around much you now know why. :)

Glad you had a good weekend. We all need that from time to time. Galena is such a cute little town. I have not been there in a while. I love the little shops.:)

When my son went to school at MSOE in milwaukee he used to go to all the fests in milwaukee. He was in walking distance, he liked that. We used to go donw for one that was called Bastiel Days.

That sounds like such a fun time. Have you ever eaten at the Irish restaurant at Downtown Disney, Raglan Road? OMG! What fun and such wonderful food. When we were there last March we had the best seats in the house. Right in front of the band and the girls that were dancing! Me and the youngest DD had our faces painted for free and the food was delicious! We didn't want to leave because we were having such a great time. We have been there twice and wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

So, welcome back from a fun weekend!

Just wondering, is there a chat room/night that this group uses? I know the last cruise we went on there was one, so I was just wondering?

Only the main chat room has been open for the past 5-6 months. So there is cruise chat on Friday night and DVC chat on Sunday night. Unfortunately the other chat rooms aren't open and we haven't been able to get the room open at other times.

Everyone is welcome to the two chats mentioned above but they are general cruise and DVC chats and not dedicated to this cruise.

Chris - we've only been to Raglan Road once right after it opened. We'll have to try it again some time.
