We had a cruise reserved for August 30, 2009 but I mentioned to DH maybe we could do back to back cruises either before or after SSMC09. I've never done this before so I'm looking for those of you who have for additional information? Do you get to stay on board? If we have the same cabin, do we have to move out? How does this work? Annmarie

We've never done a back to back but I think the way they do it now if you have the same room you don't have to pack up, but you do have to get off the ship for a short time. You can be the last ones off, then into the terminal to be processed again and then they let you back on before the terminal opens.

I'm not exactly sure that is what it's called but it's a sun deck at the very aft of deck 7, it's only open in the daytime. very nice and quiet most of the time, except when the little pirates and princesses are out there

I spoke with my middle sister this morning (not the sister that I am going to WDW with tomorrow) and asked her if she wanted to come with me on the member cruise. Well, she very quickly said yes so it looks like my cruise is no longer solo! I will probably wait a month or so to add her to the reservation just in case she changes her mind.

Now do you think that I can talk my other sister into going? I'm guessing no since she is going to WDW with me this weekend, she may not want to go next year, but you never know!

Mary, I will send you updated info for the cruise site next week when I get back from my weekend trip.

We've never done a back to back but I think the way they do it now if you have the same room you don't have to pack up, but you do have to get off the ship for a short time. The last time I priced out a 3-day vs. a 4-day the difference was less than $500 for both of us so I'm not sure if it would be worth it. I know that I have the 10% discount from the cruise booking during SSMC06. We have moved that out already so what's one more time? Plus they already have our deposit so it would be less to pay out along with only one flight to MCO rather than two (more savings). Of course, if we did this before SSMC09, we'd miss the arty: bus going to the port but woud be able to take it back to WDW or miss it going back to WDW! Something to think about!
