09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009

I'm tired! It wasn't really training but I don't know what else to call it. We are implementing a new software at our company and I'm on the implementation team (the full implementation is going to take about 9 months). This week is the first start where a representative from the company comes in and spends 3 days with us learning how we do things now. So I'm in meetings all day with him and then we take him out to lunch. Today was really crazy as we had lots of very animated discussions. Tomorrow will be more of the same but at least I'm off on Friday.

I feel for you! I can remember getting up to catch a 6:00AM flight out of O'hare to DC for training on a new computer system and sitting in meeting all day. Eating lunch with them to. At one point my boss had to kick me from under the table to keep me up.

Did anyone notice how much lower the points per person were for a Cat 3 cabin on the SSMC09 cruise? (compared to 2005)

This trip will be a short trip but should be a lot of fun. I am taking my nephew (11) and niece (10) to WDW for a long weekend. My sister, their Mom, is also tagging along but this trip is really me taking the kids. It will be their second trip to WDW and will be their first hotel stay ever. Their previous trip to WDW was in an RV. Of course, I think that they will be a bit spoiled when they stay at a "normal" hotel in the future because we will be staying at WL for 1 night and then AKV for 4 nights.

I'm pretty sure it was Home Depot. Mark will know for sure. It is a canister filled with different colors. So we pull the green out and use them for the cruises and we use the other colors at home.

Does you or Mark remember which department in Home Depot? I can just myself going up and down every aisle 3 times trying to find them!

I was wondering the same thing about points & cash for the various categories. I thought I had saved a point chart by category for 2005 & 06 but couldn't find it on my computer. Annmarie

Mary - what company is it? We were upgrading our financial software. We went through something similar a few years ago with a company out of Canada. The good thing was that I got to attend their annual conference and it just so happened to be in Orlando that year! DH got to come along and we stayed at the Marriott World Center.

The software is called HagenOA from Efi. Their annual meeting is at The Wynn in Las Vegas.

We had a cruise reserved for August 30, 2009 but I mentioned to DH maybe we could do back to back cruises either before or after SSMC09. I've never done this before so I'm looking for those of you who have for additional information? Do you get to stay on board? If we have the same cabin, do we have to move out? How does this work?
