For those who are still logging on today, where are you at now that we're about 24 hours from showing up at the port? Have you made it to your resort/hotel, are you on the road, or are you still at home like my family?

We live just south of Kissimmee so we just have about an hour and twenty minute drive for our travels to the port.

We up in Longwood. We will be headed over Sunday morning and then staying at AKV for 3 nights after.

I am sitting at the boarwalk. Like it here. Waiting for the rain to stop.

We are in Cape Canaveral. We spent most of the day at Cocoa Beach. The water is so much warmer here than at home.

Sandi & I are at a B&B in St. Augustine. We have had a great time in St Augustine the last 2 days and will drive down to the port tomorrow.

Yesterday was fun! I'm so excited to meet everyone I haven't and see everyone again!!

We are finishing up getting ready at BCV, going to get the car loaded and go down stairs for some breakfast, then it is off to the port!

Sorry I didn't make it to the BCV. I was up all night the night before because dining opened up for our Dec vacation. On line dining opens at 3am eastern time and I just couldn't fall asleep so I stayed up. At 3am the calendar changed and I could start making reservations. Had 10 made, the limit, and went to check out and the site said, "we encountered a problem" and all of them disappeared!!! So I started over and did one reservation at a time. It took me until 5am. I got everything I wanted and at the times I wanted. Could have gotten Cinderella's Castel for anytime I wanted, but for some reason the computer would not recognize the dining plan and I would have had to prepay for 5 of us. So I just decided it wasn't worth it, and Makayla will see plenty of princesses at the Princess Storybook breakfast at Norway and dinner at 1900 Park Fare, and that is only one credit. You are supposed to give a cc guarantee for the storybook, but the system recognized the dining plan for that restaurant, but not for Cinderella's castle. Guess the good Lord was trying to tell me something...save your money...

Our luggage went at 9 this am, and we are just hanging out in our room at the VWL. Our one bedroom is beautiful. It looks like the entire room has been refurbished. Everything is new and freshly painted. The sofa bed is new and there are directions on how to open it...you just pull the back forward and all of the pillows disappear. You don't take the pillows off at all.
Pretty cool. The refrigerator here is TINY compared to our SSR one bedroom.
But it is a beautiful resort and we love it here.

So, I will see you all on the ship. I have been on antibiotics for a week now, and I am assuming I am not contagious. I think it is the mold spores that are keeping me so congested. So, don't hug me or shake my hand if you are afraid of getting my disease...LOL...I won't be offended.

HOORAY, it is sail away day.
