09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009 - Part 4!

i might need to find you just becasue i think i will be missing my 14mo old! maybe i can eve change a diaper for you so i don't forget how to do it!:rotfl2:

You will be my new best friend if you want to take over diaper duty!! Ha!!

Yep. Unless I totally space out in the morning. I even put an entry into outlook. :wave2:

I might even be able to see your plane. Southwest uses the runways on the east side of the airport and that's the direction my window faces.

Nope, all I want will be stated later today. I've had a blast keeping score for the thread.:thumbsup2

Thanks, Gary, for keeping score...a daunting task...by the way, you have me listed two places on the pirate score card...bsusanmb is at the bottom with 1 and I have 5 above that.

Erie is a LONG way from NJ and a LONG way from me...

Can't wait to see what you want from us! Congrats on the new kitty cat.

Susan

WOW, SUE, YOU SURE CAN TALK....JOINED IN JUNE THIS YEAR AND ALREADY HAVE OVER 1000 POSTS...YOU SHOULD GET AN AWARD FOR THAT!!!
I AM IMPRESSED, MY FRIEND.

Hi Flo!

I'm watching Jim Shore on QVC and dreaming about having him join us on our cruise. He added appearances in DL and D23.

I've got a bunch of his pieces when he first started doing Disney. I wish I knew if he was coming, I would bring one of the first pieces he did to have autographed because it is not too big.

I have a friend who knows him, maybe I'll pop her off an email and see if she can find out anything since my guess is she will be doing a live podcast or webscast or posting, whatever you call it on their website since they post every week about the DL updates.

Hello Everyone!

Hope you all are having a good day.

I am still having a heck of a time getting in.:)

I have broken Tinkerbell's head off and yesterday I dropped Jimminy Cricket with the little drawer underneath and the drawer broke...I can glue that, but I pitched poor Tink. I have a lot of his things, and they are so fragile. My grandkids are always wanting to pick them up...they just can't look with their little eyes...

Now I know how she is in the running for :bride: winner!!

Only 1/2 day of work left and then I'm on vacation!

hi everyone some of you are up and online way to early for me. I have a question for people that have been on this cruise before. For semi formal night do most men come in suits or just tie and dress shirt?

There really isn't a semi-formal (or formal) night on the 4 night cruises. I would leave the suit at home unless you want to wear it to Palo dinner. A shirt and tie would work great for Triton's which is the dressiest of the 3 main dining rooms. Otherwise dockers and polo shirts work well.

Later today..... What I want you guys to do for me on the cruise!!!!

P.S. We have two cats in the house again!!! Pictures to follow.

Thanks so much Gary for doing the counts for us. It has been a blast. Just let us what you need.

Congrats on the new cat.

I was thinking of ending it Friday night since most people will be traveling by Saturday. Let me know if you think that's fair.

Friday night works for me and seems most fair as a good majority will be either in FL or on their way. Just let me know what the official verdict is and I'll do the awards at the Sunday meet.

Sue I think it is great. I'd much rather see someone join the group and get involved no matter how late in the game than someone posting on booking day and never be seen again or dropping in at the last minute again. To me the best part of the meets threads is getting to know everyone and being able to enjoy the cruise with them. Whether it is linking for dinner or just passing in the hall and saying hello. As someone once said way back on our 2004 Christmas Cruise thread...I can't wait to sail with the friends I haven't met yet!

Thanks to all who have gotten involved in the thread. It has made it very special!

Sue,

Are you bouncing of the walls since you leave in the morning? :) What time do you leave your house? I know I would not be sleeping tonight.

SSMC09 we're coming!

DVC are you ready for us? I sure hope so!

Good morning everyone - Happy Wednesday. Today is my last day of work until the 21st. :cool1:

This time tomorrow we will already be on the road and out of Chicago already.

Tonight we'll go out to dinner, pack away the few essentials that we needed until today, and then pack the car.

Hopefully we'll see a number of you at the Saturday DIS meet and then everyone else at the onboard meet. We may even see some of you around the parks or Boardwalk area. A couple of years ago we were getting out of the car at Boardwalk and someone called out my name. :lmao:

Safe Travels.....see you Saturday at the meet with the mini navigator's!

Our new kitty boy, rescued from an animal shelter.

I have finished the little touches on our pirate outfits, and I did some alterations on Patrick's dress pants, too. I think I'm all ready. I just need to throw stuff into the suitcases and onto the ship!

What time is everyone getting onboard? I am not sure how early we can get there!
