I've been chatting with some friends who are going on the 7night Disney Magic Eastern including Tortola. They keep asking me why I'm not on THEIR ship! I told them I can't do both at the same time!

If you folks would be so kind, I would like as many of you as you can to gather at the Conched Out Bar on one of your days at Castaway Cay. Then I would like you to ask the DJ to put on a Jimmy Buffett song, preferably "Margarittaville", purchase an adult beverage (They had two-for-ones last year),and raise a toast to your favorite Swan and Pirate scorekeeper.(That would be me) If possible, please get the whole fiasco on film/digital picture/video all-of-the-above!!! THAT would make me very happy and make the whole thing worthwhile.

What time is everyone getting onboard? I am not sure how early we can get there!

I think we are going to head out from Longwood around 9am. If we do, we should be to the port by 10:30am.

I think it takes a little over an hour to get there. About 30 minutes to the Beachline, and then about 30 minutes to the port.

If we can keep our luggage down to 1 per person, we might have Pete and Faith ride with us so we can share the parking fees. Chuck says it might be too crowded with the wheelchair and all, but it's only an hour's ride.

Only 1/2 day of work left and then I'm on vacation


Sue I think it is great. I'd much rather see someone join the group and get involved no matter how late in the game than someone posting on booking day and never be seen again or dropping in at the last minute again. To me the best part of the meets threads is getting to know everyone and being able to enjoy the cruise with them. Whether it is linking for dinner or just passing in the hall and saying hello. As someone once said way back on our 2004 Christmas Cruise thread...I can't wait to sail with the friends I haven't met yet!

Thanks to all who have gotten involved in the thread. It has made it very special!

Thank you Mary! I really can't wait to Meet you and Mark, and as you said, all of my other friends that I haven't met yet!! This has been so much fun!
