Good morning everyone - especially my coffee club friends (though I was always drinking tea).

Dave glad to hear you foot is doing better.

No Member Cruise for us next year. We're doing a 5 night in July. Hope those of you going have as good a group as this year because it is you folks that make it a good one for me.

I came from a bowling family too, but no where near that good. The only time I rolled a 600 was when I was pregnant with my first child, so that was 17 years ago! But I love it. It is great that you go to Nationals with your family. I went to Nationals once, but that was only because it was in Cedar Rapids here in Iowa. So we didn't have a State Tourney that year. It was really neat.

It is just a fun time


Mary - I hope next years group is as good as this years. I'm gonna miss all of you while we are on it. Like you said, it is all of you that made this years cruise so special!

Ditto that from me as well!! I am going to be crushed if I don't get to vacation with you guys again - we really need to stay in touch! As Mary said, she has friends from a 2004 cruise and they are still friends - no reason we all can't do that too!!

I would totally call and say I had someone else's stuff... but here's the thing. I still have suitcases laying on my basement floor. The clothes have been taken out and washed... but the boxes of Disney gifts that I fed-exed home are still sitting in my kitchen. Opened, but not put away or unpacked. SO- hold out hope... you may get a call!! In fact, I was thinking, it is my goal for the night to get all vacation stuff put away. I guess I didn't want it to be over!!

Well, Susan, it would all depend on what the pajamas looked like. Just Kidding.

I would definitely call and say I had someone else's bag. Hope you get yours back.

Well, my nightgown had little bikinis printed on it, it was v neck and short...however, it was made by Omar the tent maker!!!

I have been dealing with DCL lost and found, not MS. The lady there told me that they just located a suitcase that was missing for 2 months! She also said like many of you, some people don't really go through their gift things for a while...me included..just piled up in my room. So, maybe some how it will show up.

I called about the Alaska cruise for Aug and I think we will book. Don't know if DH will be happy about that, but hey, who knows if we will be alive by then???

I love the smell of sub rolls and making subs...did it many years being a girl scout and then being a scout leader. I LOVE subs. You can't get a good one in WDW. I think that it would be a good seller. I get so tired of sit down meals and hamburgers...just want a good old Sub!

Chris- The foot is much better, thanks. There are still a couple of the slivers still in there, but they don't hurt anymore. It was good enough to shoot 712 my first week bowling!

Mark-We will not be doing the members cruise next year either. We will be getting ready for the TA cruise.

Dave, so glad you are feeling better. I still can't believe you were walking around w/those spines in your foot!

No members' cruise for us either. We'll be with Dave on the TA. Yay!

Thank goodness we have other parents who are going to helping with the selling part - I'm not real good at that (I hate standing on the corner)! I'll just get up at 5 am and make them! But then I have to go out to camp to teach an archery class at 1 pm so I hope I can stay awake!

I had a 210 average last year, and the year before it was 226. My brothers bowl with me as well and they are 200+ as well. We do have a good time with it, doing tournaments and such.

We used to watch Earl Anthony on TV. Remember him? That's a pretty impressive bowling family you've got there (we used to bowl together until Wayne injured his back in a car accident, and now I couldn't even hold a ball w/the arthritis in my thumbs ).

WHAT?!?!?! No Mark or Mary??? How am I to make it.

I am really hoping we can go next year. The girls school is really becoming a conflict here lately. No members only this year because Jhana started 3rd grade (gateway grade here in NC) and now Ahja isn't going to go if we go next year cause she will be starting HS (and it will be her 3rd week of school that week). Then the next year is another gateway grade for Jhana and then she transitions to MS after that. The way I see it Ahja will be out of HS and Jhana in HS before we take another members only after next year.

Ah well...guess I better enjoy next year to the fulliest! You will be missed Mary (and Mark) but I know you'll be with us in spirit.

hey everyone! sorry i haven't been here...life has gotten the best of me. We are not cruising next year. We added on so that we would have more points for local overnights but will not be going to WDW or DCL for a while. I figure we will cruise again in 2015 when James is 7 and the next one will be 5. That way they can come with us and will be able to be in the clubs. We will probably go to WDW in 2011 or 2012 if we can get my parents to watch the new one or can get someone to come with us so it is not just DH and I with two kids at Disney! Glad everyone is well and getting back into the swing of things. Talk to you all soon! ~Kenna

We were just looking at our pictures, but so many of them are out of focus . I think we need a new camera (it couldn't possibly be the photographer ). We'll have to see what we can find.
