I do indeed have an extra Timon, so if you are interested I'll bring it. Do you by any chance have an extra Stitch or Goofy to trade for? Also, if anyone is interested in Lady & the Tramp pins, I've got extra of those, too. LMK.
That would be great if you can bring it. Hopefully I can find you before someone else tries to trade you for it.

Well I have good news to share...I was able to start my last chemo today. So come Wednesday when I get unplugged I'll be done with chemo.

Not to say that it will all be over. I have to have surgery to remove the port when we come back from the cruise and will have many tests over the coming years, but it is an important milestone.

Thank you all for your support over the past 7 months. It really means a lot to me and has really helped.

Mary, that is wonderful news! I am so happy for you.:banana:

Congrats
Dave on the :bride:
and
Flo on the pirate:
Congratulations from me too.

I would have loved to try this but I think its over now.

No, it was just posted that it has been extended through October. We are looking into it for Saturday night the 19th. What better way to end vacation. lol. :thumbsup2

Has anyone thought about doing, or done, the Enjoy Magic Kingdom® Fireworks Dessert Party?

It sounds really interesting and fun. Plus a place to watch the fireworks.

Sounds like fun, if its after the cruise, I might be intrested.

Too bad you won't see them this trip, but you will more than make up for it at Christmas, I'm sure!!!!!!! We would love to do Disney at Christmas. We are hoping for maybe 2010????? I will be interested to see how your time goes this year. Crowds, wait times and such.

We were there last year around the 7th to about the 13th,,it was alot of fun and we really enjoyed the decorations and the people we met.

:eek:Well a little sad right now, DH has been laid off. He was hired about 3 weeks ago, the company told the hall they had at least work for a year. we'll they were counting on contacts they didn't have ,so back to the hall he goes...number 41 on the list. thats about where he was in May, thats pretty rotten of the company...He would not have accepted the job if he knew it would only last 3 weeks, so now he's back at the bottom of the list.

opps we are going home on the 19th oh well.....

Night, I am going to bed, very tired.

I have heard it is crazy crowded and that if you plan on going to MK Christmas Day, you must be there by 8am or you will never make it in. I am not really a big crowd person, so it should be interesting:laughing:

I don't know Dave. I'll be waiting to hear how your time went. We still want to go, but???????

We have seen some decorations when we were there for Halloween. What a transformation overnight. October 31 was Halloween and when we went back to MK and AK on November 1st they had up Christmas trees! Talk about an overnight change! But we would like to be there to see all the decorations.

We've been there the week before, to see all of the decorations and such, but have never been there on Christmas Day. We loved seeing the parks and resorts all dressed up and decorated. We spent one whole day just going from hotel to hotel to see the gingerbread houses and stuff.

Dave, make sure that you buy the kids a gingerbread "shingle" from the giant gingerbread house. They are delicious!! :yay:

We could just do resort hoping. That is no problem for us. We like to do that! :thumbsup2

Mary, That is wonderful news!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. :flower3:

I'm here on and off, cooking and such. Been working on my FE gifts; DH looked at them and said, "We're going to need a bigger suitcase." I said that whatever we need to bring them in will be filled up w/DVC stuff on the way back, so it's all good :rotfl: .
Joanne - I am doing the same thing. I am packing all the FE stuff in a suitcase. Just the kids bags take up a whole box. :rolleyes1 I hope everyone enjoys what we picked out. DD and I had fun putting them all together. :thumbsup2

Oh, gosh, Disney pins...I was an obsessive pin collector when this first started 1999 into the millenium...I had to have them all...some were very valuable like the Mickey for President back then...I think I sold that for $175 and the matching Mickey presidential seal for about the same...I had every holiday collection and oh, it was a sickness...I would see some of those poor souls in WDW without decent shoes but they had thousands of pins and I envisioned myself living in a cardboard box one day surrounded by my pins. So to kick the "habit" I sold them all on ebay. It was an entire summer project, I would list and collect, DH would box and ship. And I just have stayed away from them, with the exception of an occasional cute one that I see like the flip flop pins, and Mickey in the yellow rain slicker and some other ones from the 50th Anniversay of DL, but I only have maybe 25 pins in all.
Never again, NEVER NEVER again. I also sold all of my Boyd's bears before Boyd's had to declare bankruptcy...another obsession. So now I am just a DVC freak and again, like I said 5 contracts...NO MORE. You know, I am seeing a pattern here...maybe I need a 12 step program.:rotfl2::lmao:

When DH sees me just glancing at a pin, he drags me away.

I never collected pins- but I do have quite a few Boyds Bears- had no idea they file bktcy!

I've never heard of this! Sounds fun! I'll have to do some digging to see what it is all about!

Tonight's Disney movie is "Bambi". I haven't watched this in years!! :)

Oh, I don't like Bambi. It made me sob when I was little, totally traumatized by this movie!! Made me get really mad at my dad after he went hunting, then came home and made thumper stew. It took me a while to catch on to that one. Ugh. I still won't watch it!!

So... I'm panicking.

I took my kids to the Museum of Science and Industry today, and we had a great time. I packed a lunch, but I got some fries for all of us to share as a treat. When I was on my way home, I stopped at the store and tried to use my debit card and it came up "stolen card." :scared1:Really? It's mine. So from the time I left the museum, til the time I got home, my card had been compromised and now I do not have a card- and neither does my hubby who is down in Orlando for work this week. Nice. He's traveling and has no card. At least I have the checkbook for groceries. BUT- next week is a holiday week and we leave for our trip. Only planning on using the debit card... and now I won't have one. I'm going to scream bloody murder at the bank tomorrow to see if they can overnight me a new one- UGH!! Could this have happened at a worse time?? :headache:

Dianne, I am so sorry. What a lousy thing for them to do. Will send some prayer and pixie dust your way.

I had no idea, either.

Carrie, that's horrible. It feels so bad when you try to use a card that you know is good and you are turned down. I had it happen once; it was due to the fact that one of the stores I used it in had its database compromised; they had to issue new cards to thousands of people and we had to get a new one. I sure hope they can get one to you FAST!

We did the Dessert Party when we were there in July, it was awesome, I saw recently that they extended it from the ending date of August 31 to sometime on October. It was well worth the money to attend for sure! :cool1:

Can anyone tell me for sure how early we can get into the Terminal? We want to try and get in the first load to go aboard, the Indianapolis Colts play their home opener that day and we want to watch the game in the Lounge since we wont be attending the game in person.

They play the Jaguars which is the same game we missed last year at home while we were on the cruise. :rolleyes1
