Hey Sue!
Great idea about the movies! There's nothing better to get you into the Disney mood than a classic Disney movie! :dumbo:

I missed the sailaway party. :sad1: I was thinking Central Time and was an hour late. Typical for me. (Oooo, did I just admit that outloud??)

We went looking at waterproof cameras today. We don't want to spend too much money but we want it to take good pictures. We found a Fugi that seems to be pretty popular and is about $175.00. That was the cheapest one and is actually better than our current everyday camera. Has anyone used an underwater camera before? I've heard that as the day goes on, the sand gets stirred up and the water is cloudy. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Thanks!
Susie :smickey:

Flo - I was going to ask this this morning before we left and forgot. So I will ask now.

After you posted the picture from CC I was wondering where does everybody like to make camp on the beach?

We usually go down on the other side of the play area closer to the bathrooms. Seems more peaceful there. But this year we may go out to the adult beach since no kids.

Just curious
.

Chris,

If we go to the Family beach we to go at lest past the bathrooms. Not allot going on there. But last time we were at the abult beach and we were right by the walk way. I jsut loved it there. SO I think maybe one day we will go to the Adult beach and one day to the family beach.

Happy Sunday everyone.

My hubby is in downtown disney right now... I'm so jealous!! :headache: I want to be there! Today is the arrival day for all of his supervisors for the safety meeting that he's holding down there. Of course, he went to Captain jack's and got a strawberry margarita... then sent me a pic of it. They are my favorite!!

I have two kids in bed- waiting for a movie to be over for the last one to get to sleep. Then... what to do with myself? I'm thinking of starting a fire- it's a nice cool night out, and playing with my scrap book stuff.

Ahhh, won't that be nice! :woohoo:

Dianne - You are right it is alsmost as much as the suitcase, but I don't have to take it will me it will be tehre when I get there.

Cathy - I think it is a little bit of both. They have there own minds. I was sitting here carcking up about scaring everyone. I have done that to myself at times.

So... has anyone ever eaten at that dino place in downtown disney? I know it's own by rainforest, so I am guessing it's good- but looking for confirmation!!

Hi Susie,
My DH and DS's have gone snorkeling several times and have taken the disposable waterproof cameras. Those pictures have been fabulous and very clear. Depending on weather and where you are and how many other swimmers are around you, the water will be different. Less crowd, more visibility. Hope this helps.

Susie,

We just got a Vivitar water camera. DH is going parasailing and I wanted him to ahve a good camara. We got it on amazon for under 100.00. I think it was 85.00. It looks like it takes good pictures.

BUt like Sue said the disposable ones take pretty good pics to.

He's gone til Friday afternoon. He's staying at the Hilton accross from downtown disney. So he's having early morning meetings, then letting the guys off early for fun downtown.

That's where we will be staying next week- and you can bet I'll be stopping by Capt'n Jacks Thursday night!! WOO! :worship:

Love Dumbo! We watched Brother Bear today.... and wouldn't you know it, I can't find Nemo!! We have it, but he is lost... go figure :rotfl:

That is too funny - cause we just put in Brother Bear! We're working from both ends of the list - oldest to newest (that we have) ! :rotfl2:

Evening All. Sorry I missed the sail away party today but we went shopping and were driving home about that time. It looks like you all had a good time. Yeah Joanne you made it this week. As a consolation though, I watched the Magic sail yesterday. ;)

But can you believe how hard it is to find a pair of navy blue dress shoes? :confused3 Very! I guess blue is not in this year. I even asked at the big DSW store and she said blue is not in. I cannot believe it. Now I have to figure out what color will go. Any suggestions?

Funny, I've been looking for brown dress shoes- more like sandals, cuz I'm not big into heels... and I can't find any!! I'm wearing flip flops to Palos! Well, if I can't find anything, that is! No one needs to be snooping around my feet anyway!! :lmao:

the disposable ones I have used- they are $8-$10- have always worked well for me. I have a lot of cameras, but have never spent a lot of money on an actual one for water.... the disposables have always worked. Only problem is no digital picture checks- so buy a few and take many pics!!

Carrie,

So he is coming home for a few days then going back?

What a life.;) Good for him
