Mary, I know what you mean about the boards. There are cliches it seems on many and people for the most part ignore you. I mostly go on the boards for information. I have one friend that I met through the boards and we meet up in WDW on vacation. This group is very friendly and so is the Dis boutique one on the family board, the sewing group. I used to get my feelings hurt, but then I just didn't post. If I have information that someone is asking for, I will post. Even the DVC boards are sometimes not nice. But that is today's culture I guess. We have had to study cultural change as Nurse Managers so that we understand kids of today. Having graduated from nursing back when the 3 year hospital programs were the vast majority of nursing programs, we came to work with a certain work ethic. That has changed through the generations of nursing. Another reason why I can't wait to retire. I love my patients, but I can't take a lazy nurse or one who won't touch a patient. I think that hands are the most healing and comforting gifts that God has given us...and I use mine all the time. These hands have touched many, many lives through the years. And they have been washed millions of times...the skin is getting dry and wrinkly, but I call them my character wrinkles...LOL..boy I am getting OT, aren't I???? Must be the Susan in me...LOL, SUe, do you get my drift?

The mail already came today and still no documents! We called DVC on Saturday and they said they were just printed. Most people got them already?

So that you get them this week. I guess they figure we have a couple of weeks. If you want to see if they were sent. Go into UPS tracking; then click on more options and then track by reference ( your reference will start with 23 (your res number from Disney).

I should have said to that they don't come regular mail they come UPS.

For us that means going to FL. My DH is counting the time. He has 4 years.

Just think a cpl of months at okw just relaxing and going to the parks for all the fun stuff. plus being out of the snow in jan and feb

You are so right. And somethime in March.

That is why I like DVC. If you want you can do a month or two because of the kitchens.

I have a funny one this time from Nicholas who is 5. His dad jogs and wears a sleeveless shirt when he does. So his mom had one on the other day for the first time in a long time. Nicholas asked, "Hey, are you going jogging?"
"no"...."Is that my dad's shirt?" "no"..."Well where is your beard under your armpits?" Out of the mouths of babes....

Yes the one bedroom is perfect for that long stay. And eventually that is the plan. 10 year though for me. It seems like a long time but it will go fast I am sure.

I have never stayed in a one bedroom. Last time we went we did a 2 bedroom for me and DH. We had the points and we had to use them I sure liked that. Since I don't sleep much I am always up and down it worked out good for us. This time since it is a short visit for the cruise we have a studio.

As my mom always told me, the older you get the faster time passes. Boy is she right.

I know everyone was very concerned with my washing machine being broken-(I mean, besides this board, facebook, and laundry- what else do I do?!?!?) but I am happy to report that a magic man was out here this morning, and it is running better than ever!! Apparently a shock had come out of the place it was held into, which was causing the tub to spin out of control. So, now that it is fixed, I have a quiet washer back, and I no longer have to stand there and hold the door so it stays closed during the spin cycle!! WOW! I should have thought of calling them earlier!! And they didn't charge me an arm and a leg, which was great! The repairs were going to have to come out of our disney moolah!!

Since October 2003. It was for are 3rd cruise and first 7 day. I found them by mistake and I am glad I did. I am still friend with the people that I cruised with in 2004.

I stopped counting the times I have been to WDW. But if I sat down it would probibly about the same as yours. Right now I have old timers. Yes, there is allot of info. Here and on the discussion part of the board.

I should stop counting also. Some of my friends just don;t understand why i go so often and I try to tell them I just relax even if I don;t get to a park.

They think you only go to disney to go to the park
