For us that means going to FL. My DH is counting the time. He has 4 years.:)

But 2 months is good to.

My DH can retire anytime...he was eligible at 55 and he is now 59. When he does finally retire, he will get more retired than working, because at age 60 he will get his military pension...lucky him...he doesn't care much what he says at work...he knows he can just walk anytime...

I am hoping to retire at 62 and I will be 60 in Feb...but if my health holds out, I will stay longer. I like to spend $ too much on the grandchildren.

We always stay in a one bedroom because I must have a king size bed...that bed in the studio just doesn't seem like a queen to me, even though they say it is. If the bed were a bit bigger, it would be fine. But with that kitchen, we can stay for a month in a one bedroom. Oh, and I love the BIG whirlpool tub...woo hoo, relaxation...love it.

If my washer broke I would be very very upset...the laundromat is out of the question...hate the laundromat. Waste of time..hey, I could be sleeping or planning my next Disney cruise, right? LOL

Soon time to go home...no rest for me, though, DH wants me to go to the minor league Phillies game tonight...I go for the hotdogs, nothing else. But I would rather take a nice nap.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Two waterproof disposable cameras are better than one! If you are planning any water activities you may have already thought of bringing a disposable waterproof camera. You might want to bring two. This is especially true if you are doing something like parasailing or jet skis. Why two? So you can get two different perspectives.

For example when I went parasailing I took one up with me and gave one to someone on the boat with me. They took pictures of me going up and down and I took pictures while I was up. Together they tell a great story.

Same thing on CC if one parent is in the water with the kids the parent relaxing on land can take pictures as can the parent in the water.

They don't cost that much and the memories you'll have will be priceless

I am absolutely going to have two ready! And maybe, just maybe, the weather will cooperate this year. Have tried to parasail before but wind has been too high. Cross your fingers that we get up this time. :thumbsup2

I should stop counting also. Some of my friends just don;t understand why i go so often and I try to tell them I just relax even if I don;t get to a park.

They think you only go to disney to go to the park

THe last time we were at Disney we were at SSR and did not go to the parks once. We went to Down Town Disney and I got my fix that way. My mom does not understand why we keep going back either.

I like that much better - camouflage!! :rotfl2:

Thanks so much Joanne. You're very kind. :)

Sue, Can't imagine going through what you have gone through. I have had life and death experiences and almost lost my child to drugs. Things are no longer important to me...memories are and I make lots of them. Life is such a gift. My brother was burned to death beyond recognition 10 years ago, and I didn't get the chance to say goodbye and tell him how much I loved him...and so now when I leave people, I say good bye and "it was nice knowing you" People think I am nuts, but it just changed my life.

I have a funny one this time from Nicholas who is 5. His dad jogs and wears a sleeveless shirt when he does. So his mom had one on the other day for the first time in a long time. Nicholas asked, "Hey, are you going jogging?"
"no"...."Is that my dad's shirt?" "no"..."Well where is your beard under your armpits?" Out of the mouths of babes....:rotfl2::lmao:

Susan, sounds like you have had many life-changing experiences yourself. Very glad to see you wrote "almost" about your child. I hope they are well now. And your brother, oh my, I can't imagine. But things like these change our lives, and I also hug and kiss goodbye every time - every time!

I love your funny story - don't ya just love kids!! :rotfl2:

I was on the discussion part of the thread and they are talking about passengers being left behind. I don't know what I would do if that happend to me. I think that is why I also like to do Disney excersion's if we do them. Then they have to waite for me.

I think it was St Thomas that we watched from the balconey people running for the ship. I thought why would you cut your time so close to have to hope they waited for you. To much stress for me. I want to be on the ship in plenty of time so I can relax and enjoy.

Neither does my mom or most of our friends! They say that they were there, saw it all and don't have to go back. I see something new every time we go!

I am with you on that! They were talking about people running to the ship with Senor Frog glasses (those big ones) to make the ship. i was cracking up.

We watched one time in Cozumel as a group was running for the ship, only they were trying to carried two of their friends! It was pretty hilarious!! :lmao:

Sue,

I got to a point I don't even talk aobut Disney with my mom if at all possible. When I do I get the head shakking thing. Now my cousins on the othe hand are like me. In fact one of my cousins will be out there when we get there.

I look at it this way to each is own.

It is not like I have not been to other places.

i agree and each trip without the kids is different also. I do things that I always wanted but couldn;t since they where with me

Have you ever been on a cruise in sept. How is the weather at castaway cay and how about the water temp

No we have always gone in the summer. In fact we did a west coast cruise with DCL last year in June and that was cold. I had to buy a pair of jogging pants and a sweatshirt.

You could have video taped it and put it on America's video and won money. I am sure it was hilarious.
